This delicious organic Chardonnay from Greece, was our first ever guest producer. Another example of how this magnificent grape can taste different (again) in another climate or from a different terroir. This has enough ‘classic chard’ to please traditionalists, but real intrigue via lemon and mountain herb notes to interest the keenest of inquisitive palettes. From the 2022 harvest at our West Ashling vineyard, this wine opens with an inviting bouquet of local watercress beds, complemented by notes of toasty cashews, cool cinders, and ripe greengage plum.
On the palate, it delivers a delicate interplay of fresh acidity, reminiscent of crunchy nectarine, balanced by a subtle coastal salinity. The finish lingers gracefully, enhanced by a creamy softness imparted by a touch of time in the barrel.

Cuvée Boz – 100% Chardonnay – is from Coldharbour Vineyard in West Sussex, planted in 2005 on chalk and flint soil. Vinified in stainless steel and without any oak ageing, it shows remarkable clarity and freshness that shines through its flinty minerality and a long, toasty finish.

La Cantina Pizzolato Pinot Nero DOC Venezia 2023 (6 Bottles) Veneto, Italy

Settimo Pizzolato is the fifth generation of grower at the estate, a man full of charisma and innovative wisdom. The vines at the Pizzolato estate are on pebbly banks of river deposit, which are irrigated by concrete channels that were put in in the 1950s during Italy’s reconstruction post-war. The wines always deliver simple, fresh flavours and they always deliver consistent results, whether you are enjoying them in New York, Tokyo or Seattle.
Pale ruby red colour with a slight garnet hue. Aroma reminiscent of berries, blackberry, plum jam with notes of licorice. In the mouth the wine is delicate, fruity and typically acidulous. Its light tannin gives it a full and pleasantly long taste.

Champagne Gratiot-Pillière Brut Tradition NV (6 Bottles) Champagne, France

The Gratiot-Pillière family’s focus has always been on quality, authenticity and value above all else. Winemakers since 1657, today the winery is in the hands of 11th generation brothers Olivier and Sébastien. The family vineyards cover 18 hectares of land, spread throughout the towns of Charly-Sur-Marne, Saulchery, Bonneil and Azy-Sur-Marne. Subtle blends of Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from across varied terroirs give a style that is fresh, balanced and replete with delicate fruit.
A blond gold yellow tint surrounds the fine bubbles which rise slowly. The nose expresses itself with opulence, with mixed notes of ripe yellow fruits (mirabelle plum, fresh quince) and fruit in syrup. The palate is almost suave, with a nice persistence, supported by a light freshness that accompanies a warm finish.
