Complex aromas of toast, brioche, coffee, honey and fig on the nose are backed up by fresh tangerine and satsuma citrus notes on the palate. This is a great example of English Sparkling Wine at its finest. We will only make this wine in excellent years and in limited quantities.
First release of our signature premium blend is made from only our finest cuvees with minimal intervention techniques – no fining, no filtration and prolonged barrel maturation in a mixture of old and new oak prior to blending and bottling . The wine then spent over 4 years in bottle on-lees ageing in our cellars prior to disgorging leading to a beautifully concentrated and complex layered wine with perfect poise and balance.

The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. Fast forward to today, and this iconic winery has carefully crafted each blend to showcase the unique characteristics of its terroir, resulting in wines that are both complex and approachable.
This wine is a crafted blend of flavours and textures, showcasing the best of Margaret River Shiraz. This 16 Hectares Shiraz is a medium-bodied delight, with a rich array of dark fruit flavours, including red cherry, blackberry, and spiced plum. These flavours are beautifully complemented by layers of cedar and warm spice, adding depth and complexity to the wine. With its finely textured tannins and refreshing acidity, this wine is both elegant and refined. The gravelly soils of the Wallcliffe vineyard have imparted a subtle minerality, while the wild-yeast fermentation has added a touch of nuance. This is our sparkling Rosé, made with a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. Warm pink hue, frothy; dried cranberry, autolytic; nicely defined red fruit flavours, lively acidity balancing creamy mousse and good weight, nicely balanced, savoury finish with a lovely brioche character. Lovely on its own or with perhaps a few canapés, some charcuterie or smoked fish.
Coddington Vineyard Ortega 2022 (6 Bottles) Ledbury, Herefordshire, England

Ortega grapes ripen from the beginning of September – quite early for white grapes and therefore excellent in our rather damp Autumn climate.
It develops well in the bottle and produces wine of outstanding quality with a fine aroma reminiscent of peaches.
Not quite as dry as Bacchus, but not as sweet as Pinot.
Albourne Estate Red Pinot Noir 2019 (6 Bottles) Albourne, West Sussex, England

This is our second vintage of Red Pinot Noir and displays a deeper, richer ruby colour and a more complex nose than our 2018 version. This is partly due to the vintage and partly due to increased use of the ‘saignee’ method during winemaking. The nose offers aromas of rich dark berries including black cherries backed by notes of cigarbox, black olives and dark chocolate. On the palate it delivers excellent body for a cool climate Pinot Noir with mature soft tannins, a balanced mouthfeel and a harmonious lingering finish. All of this wine has spent 12 months in a mix of new and old French oak barrels before being bottled by hand, unfined and unfiltered, under cork to allow gentle ageing.
Highly enjoyable with charcuteries cheese and nuts as an aperitif and great with a casserole or barbecued meats and vegetables.
