Josef Chromy is one of Tasmania's most famous influential wine figures, having owned and developed some of the state's most prominent wineries, including Rochecombe (now Bay Of Fires), Jansz, Tamar Ridge and Heemskerk vineyards. In 2007 he established the winery that would bear his name, which quickly became one of Tasmania's leading wine producers.
The Pinot Noir 2023 showcases an abundance of deep red berry fruits, accompanied by notes of cinnamon spice and subtle oak toast. On the palate, it delivers a rich and generous experience with dark red fruits, supple tannins, and a smooth, lingering finish.

The 2025 Red Hut Pinot Gris from Marlborough's Awatere valley is a vibrant and finely detailed expression of the variety. Aromas of freshly cut pear, lemon zest and white blossom lead into a palate that is both bright and textural. Notes of nashi pear, green apple and a hint of spice are supported by a subtle mineral edge. This Pinot gris finished long and clean, with a gentle savoury note that adds depth and complexity. With an alcohol content of 12%, refreshing acidity at 5.5 g/l, and minimal sugar (<1.0 g/l), it presents a beautifully clean profile.
