A captivating debut still white wine from Black Chalk, ‘Rumour Has It’ showcases the essence of Kent’s vineyards with a distinctly Black Chalk twist. This Chardonnay, crafted from four tonnes of premium fruit sourced from a trusted friend’s vineyard in Kent, offers a soft, rounded texture courtesy of full malolactic fermentation. A blend of stainless-steel and 30% new French oak fermentation lends the wine a harmonious balance between fresh purity and subtle oak influence.

Non vintage English Sparkling Brut Reserve. Typically 2 ½ to 3 years on lees, blended with 2 to 3 prior years’ reserve wines. The wine is only released after a further 6-12 months on cork.
This elegant brut sparkling blend showcases a harmonious balance of flavours. The 40% Chardonnay provides a rich, creamy texture, while the 50% Pinot Noir adds depth and complexity. The 10% Pinot Meunier contributes a subtle fruitiness and delicate acidity. Made from a blend of Madeleine Angevine and Bacchus grapes, grown in the Tamar Valley. The wine has hints of blossom, sherbet and elderflower, a floral and citrus finish with baked apple on the nose. This wine won a BRONZE at the Wine GB West awards in December 2024.
The Tamar Valley was famous for its market gardens and early flowering blooms, especially daffodils. The ‘double white’ was popular for its intense perfume and its creamy white petals.

Our Sauvignon Blanc has its own Characteristics. It is different to a French or New Zealand; it can only be described as wonderfully Cornish. On the nose this wine is lively with notes of lime, passion fruit and pineapple. On the palate it’s crunchy fresh, green apple and tropical fruits with a distinctly Cornish minerality provided by the granite-based soil at Polgoon.

Champagne Gaston Chiquet has been passed down through eight generations since 1746, when Nicolas Chiquet planted his first vines. It was brothers Fernand and Gaston who, in 1919, made the bold decision to keep their grapes and producer their own wine. Committed to protecting their land for future generations, they have both the Champagne Sustainable Viticulture and High Environmental Value certification, which they were awarded in 2015.
Pale yellow colour, fine mousse. Expressive, fruity (citrus and banana) nose. Smooth palate (Meunier) maintaining the citrus notes, light finish.
