NECTAR FROM A DIFFERENT HECTARE
This heavenly wine is made by one of my fabulous wine-buddies, Roberto Echeverría and the jazzy new label is designed by his English wife Julia who grew up down the road from Coolhurst in Copthorne!
The grapes for this wine are grown in a single vineyard in the Entre Cordilleras area of the Curicó Valley, at an altitude of 243 metres. Situated on the 35th parallel south, between the towering Andes Mountains and the cool Pacific Ocean, the cooling influence of the oceanic breeze allows the grapes to achieve outstanding fruit aromas and exceptional colour concentration. The rows are planted in an east-westerly direction, to maximise the sun’s exposure.
This is an absolute cracker and incredible value for money! This concentrated golden wine has a complex nose of mature peaches, apricots and honey, with notes of quince jam and creamy honeyed flavours enlivened by a good level of acidity. Rich, intense and full bodied, with a long and elegant finish. Serve nice and cold!

Our Hambledon Zéro Dosage Rosé is produced exclusively from estate-grown Meunier grapes in the historic village of Hambledon in Hampshire.
Hambledon’s cool climate combined with ancient chalky soils creates an ideal terroir to show this grape’s true potential. This is a gastronomic Fizz, free from categorization, born from our winemaker’s artistry.
This is a fine example of the depth and complexity that Meunier can produce whilst showcasing an energy and freshness that can be independently served or paired with food throughout a meal.
A beautiful, vivid wild-strawberry pink with a hue of red onion skin on the rim. On the nose, magnolia blossom is followed stridently by perfumed wild-strawberry compote with hints of buttered white sourdough toast. The palate is rich and mouth filling with flavours of strawberry balanced by zingy tart cranberry and pithy Amalfi lemon notes. The texture is creamy with a clean, crisp, yeasty finish.

Rather than let the apples go to waste, or fall to the hands of Devon’s notorious ‘Scrumpers’, we thought we’d put them to good use. For every bottle purchased from this range, we'll donate 25p to the Dartmoor Preservation Association to preserve the natural habitat.

This is a perfect and exact blend between Pinot Noir, chosen for its red fruits aroma, its body, depth of flavour and fullness, and Pinot Meunier, our favourite, for its aromatic sweetness, a lush fruitiness and the capacity to acquire the roundness of age comparatively rapidly. The Pinot Noir grape provides the back-bone of our wine, whilst the Pinot Meunier lends softeners and orchard fruit aromas. A beautifully rich golden colour as well as an intense nose with red fruit aromas, such as red cherry, cranberry and redcurrant, are enticing us to take a first sip. Domaine Deux Roches is based in the village of Davayé, in the Mâconnais, and is jointly owned by Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray. Their 50 hectares of vineyards largely lie between the twin escarpments of Solutré and Vergisson and showcase the diverse terroirs of this region. The wines of Deux Roches are known for their drinkability and offer great value for money.
This Bourgogne Blanc by Domaine Des Deux Roches has an appealing bouquet of fresh apples and bright citrus fruits with a delicate hint of spice. Creamy stone fruits on the palate are underscored by a refreshing mineral character. Beautifully balanced with a lingering finish. Great value for money.

With it’s clear pale yellow colour, this wine looks like summer in a glass. On the nose it has fresh green apple aromas coupled with scents of gooseberry, stone fruits and meadow grass. This is followed up on the palate with refreshing flavours of crisp green apple and ripe nectarine.
The wine has a nice mineral aspect that is pursued by a generous citrus acidity.
