The palate is dry and lively, showing flavours of green apple, lime zest and tropical citrus. A subtle lees influence adds softness to the texture, while crisp acidity and a mineral edge give the wine a long, refreshing finish.

This is quite possibly the best sparkling wine that we’ve made so far. The 2018 combines the richness of our 2013 and the depth of 2011 a balance that gives the best of both worlds. The wine is pretty much equal quantities of Chardonnay , Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier with 15% Reserve Wine from previous vintages going right back to 2010 .
It was disgorged in late 2023after four years on the lees. It still has plenty of room for development and will continue to improve for five or more years.
