This has enough ‘classic chard’ to please traditionalists, but real intrigue via lemon and mountain herb notes to interest the keenest of inquisitive palettes. This Ditchling Red is 100% Pinot Noir, light fruity style, has aged in old French barrels for 6 months. A soft and fruity red; smooth acidity and light tannic structure with warming red fruit aromas with lots of blackcurrants, cherry and spice on the palate. Enjoy on its own or with roast chicken, seared tuna and lightly spiced dishes. 12% abv.
Oastbrook Estate Sparkling Rosé 2015 (6 Bottles) Robertsbridge, Kent, England

Deep Cherry red rose develops a splash of fruits and flavours of cherries and blackberries, herb, spice and dried Orange peel; it has refreshing strawberry aromas with notes of brioche , which become accentuated after time in the glass with a long fresh finish.
A blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier The grapes were pressed in a traditional Coquard press. After fermentation the base wines were kept separate and remained on their gross yeast lees over winter to develop additional complexity and richness. The base wines did not go through malolactic fermentation. Bottled in May 2016 the Rose was disgorged on September 2021 and has spent 63 months on the lees.

Plumpton Estate Brut Rosé is made by the traditional method using a classic blend of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. grapes are hand-picked and fermented before our winemaker carefully crafts our signature blend with the help of wine students. The wine spends at least two years ageing on lees in bottle. A splash of red Pinot Noir wine is added to give it a vibrant pink colour.

Inviting nose with red berry fruit (strawberry and raspberry), quince, nectarine, and delicate floral aromas (white rose petal).
Fresh red berries on the palate alongside crisp red apple give an initially bright attack, with the suggestion of stone fruits giving a slighter rounder feel to the wine. Floral notes linger on the palate giving an elegant finish.
Would work great with crab and richer shellfish dishes in creamy sauces with plenty of depth. Lobster ravioli anyone?

Made from 40% Pinot Noir and 60% Divico. Decant and serve at room temperature. Store in a cool, dark place.
