The name Old Oaks pays homage to the ancient oak tree that stands sentinel by our Doehole vineyard, symbolizing our commitment to sustainability. A one-off reserve sparkling wine, six years in the making and only 1,200 bottles produced – this has been a special project Ben has worked on since Flint opened its doors in 2016.
Made from Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Meunier, the VMV is a blend of the best juice from across three vintages, ⅔ aged in oak, secondary fermentation in bottle, and aged on its lees for a further three years.

It has a toasty savouriness with the well-judged intensity of pastry and biscuit never overwhelming the elegant fruit. On the palate it has wonderful concentration and acidic structure. Bone dry with and beautifully balanced. Superb length.
