A lightly oaked chardonnay blend, dry with a round palate of pear, peach, yellow apple, and citrus fruit. Creamy, butterscotch notes with a good use of light oak showing vanilla and toast, adding structure and complexity. This is a voluptuous wine with a rich long finish. Oastbrook Estate Sparkling Rosé 2015 (6 Bottles) Robertsbridge, Kent, England

Deep Cherry red rose develops a splash of fruits and flavours of cherries and blackberries, herb, spice and dried Orange peel; it has refreshing strawberry aromas with notes of brioche , which become accentuated after time in the glass with a long fresh finish.
A blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier The grapes were pressed in a traditional Coquard press. After fermentation the base wines were kept separate and remained on their gross yeast lees over winter to develop additional complexity and richness. The base wines did not go through malolactic fermentation. Bottled in May 2016 the Rose was disgorged on September 2021 and has spent 63 months on the lees.
