Domaine Haute Févrie Muscadet 2024 (6 Bottles) Loire, France

Domaine la Haute Févrie is found right in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation, around 18km south-east of Nantes. The estate covers 30 hectares of vineyards divided into several plots, which sit on the piece of land that lies between the waters of the Sèvre and the Maine. All of the vines are managed with environmentally friendly priniciples. hand-harvesting, no chemical fertilizers and with yield control. The domaine create single vineyard Muscadet wines enabling the expression of each individual site in every bottle.
The wine is aged for seven months in stainless steel tank, preserving its freshness. Displaying classic citrus and marine aromas, zip and a subtle spritz it is ideal with bivalves (mussels, oysters, etc.)

This is our sparkling Rosé, made with a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. Domaine Chignard farms 8 hectares of old vines in Fleurie, situated at the top of the hill sloping down to Moulin-àVent on pure granitic soils. The wines are elegant but serious and concentrated expressions of the terroir, none more so than the ‘Les Moriers’ lieu-dit. Cédric is following in his father’s footsteps and continuing the traditional Beaujolais way of farming and winemaking.
Bright, focused, and energetic, the fruit-filled Fleurie "Les Moriers" reflects its outstanding terroir with good concentration and a superb depth not usually found in the wines of Fleurie. It's very lush and vivid, tasting generous and fluid with great vibrancy The vines average 80 years old and 'Les Moriers' has been known as one of the legendary vineyards of the Beaujolais for a few hundred years and this is it's best example.
