An off-dry English sparkling wine with refined fruit character. It has a pale golden hue with a steady stream of tiny bubbles.
Floral aromas of almond blossom and honeysuckle dance on the nose, with fragrant stone fruits including yellow nectarine and quince. It has the scent of summer meadows alongside attractive aromas of freshly baked shortbread and sweet brioche. The palate is off-dry with honeyed fruit, sweet apple compote and stewed medlar. It has a wonderful creamy mousse and a silky texture as smooth as panna cotta.
There are hints of frangipane and bakewell tart with a tasty layer of sweet almond paste running through it. It has balancing acidity to counteract the sweetness so the result is exquisitely off-dry with a lingering finish.
Perfect for celebrations such as christenings or a baby shower, or simply enjoy it with afternoon tea. Serve well-chilled in a flute alongside sweet canapés such as mini strawberry short-cake or individual fruit tarts. Also good with creamy fruit desserts such as summer trifle or panna cotta with a red berry coulis. Enjoy it with a classic cream tea with home-baked scones, lashings of clotted cream and luscious strawberry jam.

This limited-edition release of only 1,400 bottles comes from the small but exquisitely formed 2022 vintage. The name, Goldenford, honours the Saxon name for Guildford and was the winning entry in a competition to create a name for this unique wine.
This elegant yet generous wine is bursting with aromas of ripe stone fruit such as white peach and nectarine, alongside a sprinkling of vanilla from the well-integrated oak ageing.

The wine showcases a delightfully delicate golden hue, bursting with aromas and flavours of honeyed red apples. Subtle hints of crisp red berries such as cranberry and redcurrant add freshness and vibrancy to the overall profile. The fruit was harvested by hand from our own vines and a parcel from Martin's Lane Vineyard in the Crouch Valley, Essex. To express the complexity of the Bacchus grape, we use a multitude of techniques that respect both the traditional and more novel methods of winemaking.
