Oastbrook Estate Sparkling Cuveé 2014 (6 Bottles) Robertsbridge, Kent, England

This is a rich ripe, full and surprisingly generous Cuvee. Aromas of lemon, pear and apple and hedgerow flowers and hints of brioche. The palate is lovely, lush and elegant and the finish long and equally luscious with a hint of shortbread.
The grapes were pressed in a traditional Coquard press. After fermentation the base wines were kept separate and remained on their gross yeast lees over winter to develop additional complexity and richness. The base wines did not go through malolactic fermentation. Bottled in May 2014 the Cuvee was disgorged on September 2021 and has spent 87 months on the lees. This wine is a blend of 62% Chardonnay 21% Pinot Noir and 17% Pinot Meunier.

Torri Cantine, producers of organic wine in Abruzzo for 60 years, has always made the respect for nature and for the land its priority. The radiant vine-covered hills of Torri Cantine express an infinite variety of scents and all the colours of the earth warmed by the sun. The Torri Cantine vineyards extend over 60 hectares in the municipalities of Colonnella, Controguerra and Torano, in the province of Teramo, from 100 to 300 meters above sea level. The favorable climatic conditions and the generous soil, together with the patient and scrupulous work in the vineyard and in the cellar, have made it possible to obtain wines of great value.
Colour is pale yellow with golden reflections, while the nose is floral with ripened yellow fruit, Fresh and rich in minerality and persistence. Lovely with fish and fresh or medium-aged cheese.

Boco by House Coren; a high-quality Charmat method sparkling wine made in West Sussex using top-quality grapes from England. An iridescent kaleidoscope of pale, white peach. This wine is fresh and aromatic, it has aromas of gooseberry, cassis bud and green pineapple on the nose, followed by a zesty palate of pithy pink grapefruit. A classic English Bacchus.
Bacchus grape is a cross between Müller-Thurgau and Silvaner-Riesling and tastes quite like a Sauvignon Blanc.
A race won ‘on the nod’ is thrilling to watch and is so close it is often decided by a photo of the finish. A perfect name for our Bacchus with its crisps, citrus finish. A possibility thanks to the warmer 2022 vintage, the wine is crimson red in colour with a heady blend of fresh raspberries, sweet spice and leather on the nose due to fermentation and maturation in two neutral French oak barrels.
The palate is bright, soft and juicy with macerated red cherries and a touch of freshly ground pepper. An uncomplicated example of the lighter style of still Pinot Noir that can be produced from Burges Field's when vintage conditions allow.
Palacios Remondo La Montesa Crianza 2021 (6 Bottles) Rioja, Spain

Palacios Remondo is a family-owned winery based in Alfaro, in Rioja Oriental, the warmest and most easterly part of the Rioja appellation. The soils here are silty and alluvial and the semi-arid Mediterranean climate is well-suited to growing Garnacha, a variety that is finally coming back into the foreground in this region, after decades of being supplanted by the more popular Tempranillo.
This wine is the epitome of Garnacha of the region, plump and generous, with layers of red fruit, subtle spicing and lively freshness. A very long, complete finish, with a savoury sign off to balance.
