Greyfriars Vineyard Blanc de Blancs 2015 (6 Bottles) Puttenham, Surrey, England
UK MAINLAND DELIVERY INCLUDED
The wine is dry yet the aromas remind us of baked apples and lemon peel, it’s a beautiful wine to drink with food and it will naturally match most fish dishes, and especially those prepared with a creamy sauce or with a hint of spice.
Tasting Notes featured in Decanter Magazine:: (November 2023) "A richly textured blanc de blancs from the North Downs, five years on lees. Yeasty mango, pineapple and banana peel on the nose. More rounded yellow fruits on the palate, seasoned with sweet spices and a touch of tannin. The creamy weight is offset by still-vivid freshness. Toasty almonds to finish."
WineGB Tasting Notes: "Deep colour, powerful nose with presence - cashew brioche and fig. A big, dense, textural wine with weight allied to power. Finishes long and fine with toasted nuts, candied lemon and spice."
The sixth release, our 2015 Blanc de Blancs is a standout wine that we are incredibly proud of. Awarded an impressive 93 points by Decanter Magazine, it featured in their November 2023 issue as one of the "Best English Wines to Try This Christmas". This wine is a true testament to our dedication to crafting exceptional English wines and makes a great gift for any wine lover.
The grapes were crushed and destemmed before fermenting. Part of the wine was fermented and aged in used oak barrels with the remainder in stainless steel tanks. Both batches went through malolactic fermentation. It was bottled for secondary fermentation in July 2016 and has matured on lees for 6 years.
Black Chalk Classic Sparkling White 2021 (6 Bottles) Andover, Hampshire, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
A sophisticated blend of 50% Chardonnay, 38% Pinot Noir, and 12% Pinot Meunier, this wine embodies elegance and precision. The Chardonnay-led profile delivers a vibrant fruit focus, while a touch of malolactic fermentation adds a layer of richness and texture, perfectly balanced by the wine’s hallmark freshness.
On the palate, expect a textured and full-bodied experience, supported by bright acidity (8.5g/l) and subtle sweetness (5.4g/l residual sugar). The wine is aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees, enhancing complexity, with an additional 6 months on cork post-disgorgement to ensure perfect integration.
A versatile choice for any occasion. Enjoy as an aperitif with crisps and canapés, or elevate everyday dining by pairing with fried chicken. For a more refined match, complement its freshness and texture with shellfish such as oysters, crab, or prawns.

Gusbourne Late Disgorged Blanc de Blancs 2013 (6 Bottles) Appledore, Kent, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
The extended lees ageing of this wine brings with it a complexity and creamy mouthfeel, showing toasted brazil nut, freshly baked croissant and pastry along with bright citrus fruits, lemon sherbet, stone fruits and a striking mineral note.
Every year, we release a small number of late-disgorged wines. These are particularly luxurious and fine thanks to a special winemaking technique.
If you’re already familiar with Dom Perignon’s Plénitude or Bollinger’s RD, then you know the magical combination of freshness allied with delicious flavours of brioche, cream, butter and toast that characterise late-disgorged wines.
But how does this kind of ageing alchemy happen? The answer lies in the lees.
