A yellow colour white blend with light golden and greenish tones. On the nose it is expressive and vivacious, with floral notes and white fruit aromas like peach, pear and pineapple standing out. When we decided we wanted to make sparkling wine we also wanted to make our mark. We looked at all the fantastic offerings in the English sparkling wine category and decided to make our sparkling wine in a different way.
Using the Charmat method, a production technique favoured by many Italian and German producers of quality sparkling wine, we were able to produce a different style of wine giving a more fruit driven, easy drinking and approachable style.

Plumpton Estate Brut Rosé is made by the traditional method using a classic blend of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. grapes are hand-picked and fermented before our winemaker carefully crafts our signature blend with the help of wine students. The wine spends at least two years ageing on lees in bottle. A splash of red Pinot Noir wine is added to give it a vibrant pink colour.

Star-bright pale lemon hue and well-defined legs. It has pronounced aromas of ripe Cox's apples, yellow plum and hints of pineapple plus creamy notes of custard.
The palate is mellow and flavourful with a creamy texture and soft acidity. Flavours of Russet apple, quince and pineapple combine with hints of vanilla and creamed coconut on the finish. it has wonderful depth of flavour, great balance and a silky elegance.
Good served slightly chilled with meaty fish such as salt-baked cod or local fish and chips. Also good with roast chicken and thyme-scented sauteed potatoes.
