This is a perfect and exact blend between Pinot Noir, chosen for its red fruits aroma, its body, depth of flavour and fullness, and Pinot Meunier, our favourite, for its aromatic sweetness, a lush fruitiness and the capacity to acquire the roundness of age comparatively rapidly. The Pinot Noir grape provides the back-bone of our wine, whilst the Pinot Meunier lends softeners and orchard fruit aromas. With passion and purpose Red Hut was launched and embodies the spirit of New Zealand, they are inspired by the iconic red huts that shelter adventurers. This Chardonnay is an expression of site and season. Aromas of white peach, citrus blossom and roasted cashew lead into a textured palate layered with ripe stone fruit, subtle oak spice and a touch of flinty minerality. The natural fermentation and extended lees contact add depth and complexity, while bright acidity provides length and freshness on the finish. Elegant, structured and cellar-worthy.
