Monte del Frà Bardolino Chiaretto Rosé 2024 (6 Bottles) Veneto, Italy

Monte del Frà (meaning ‘land of the monks’) gets its name from the late 15th century, when a group of Friars formed a monastery on the land. Some hundred years later, the friars leased 25 hectares for the cultivation of vineyards and fruit trees. You can, in fact, still see this document today in the Vienna’s historic library. Fast forward several centuries, and Monte del Frà is now in the very capable hands of the Bonomo family. For over six decades the family have farmed this land, now resting firmly with the third generation; Marica, Silvia and Massimo Bonomo.
Delicate scents of berry fruits, raspberries, redcurrants, and wild flowers, accompanied by light and refreshing hints of green apples and by spicy tones, cinnamon, cloves and vanilla.

This Ditchling Red is 100% Pinot Noir, light fruity style, has aged in old French barrels for 6 months. Cielo e Terra has dual roots in the Veneto region: the Cielo family and the winemakers of the Cantine dei Colli Berici. The Cielo family’s bond with the land dates back to 1908 in the Vicenza countryside, near the Castles of Romeo and Juliet, where the great-grandfather had bought Casa Defrà, a small farm with a vineyard. They enjoy making wines with passion and innovation to create signature versions of traditional Italian wines, looking for the right balance between personality and easy-drinking.
This wine reveals a delicate light pink hue, reflecting its fresh and vibrant character. The bouquet is lively and persistent, offering inviting fruity aromas with notes of pineapple and strawberry. On the palate, it is soft and slightly mineral, delivering a well-rounded, balanced profile. A limited edition of 100 bottles. This is a pudding fizz made at Hattingley Valley and disgorged at Offbeat Wines by Daniel Ham, our winemaker. Owned by the Deniau family, Domaine des Vaublins has been a family winery for several generations. Since 2020 the Domaine is in the hands of the current generation Nicolas and Alexandrine, and together with Cedric Allion they are making some excellent wines under his watchful eye. Their 16 hectares of vines are located on the clay and limestone hillsides on the banks of the river Cher.
This Sauvignon Blanc showcases a golden hue adorned with green undertones, displaying impeccable clarity and remarkable depth. Its nose is a one of complexity, boasting exquisite fruit notes of citrus, particularly grapefruit, alongside captivating mineral undertones. Upon aeration, the minerality takes centre stage, reminiscent of gunflint, intertwining gracefully with the hints of freshly squeezed lemon entwined with the essence of white fruit, pear, and green apples. The minerality gracefully intertwines with powerful fruit flavours, most notably peach.
