A vivacious and refreshing, lower alcohol crisp dry white wine with lots of zesty appeal. Pale lemon hue with a flash of green and a few legs. Aromatic floral notes of lemon blossom and elderflower combine with green apple, lemon zest and gooseberry. It also has herbaceous notes of lemongrass and a faint hint of nettle on the nose. The palate is dry with racy acidity and vibrant freshness. It has attractive citrus flavours of juicy grapefruit and tangy lime which mingle with ripe gooseberry and kiwi-fruit. Subtle grassy flavours and herbal notes of kaffir lime leaf and coriander combine with salty minerality on the crisp dry finish. Ashdown Boundary Block is made from 100% Merlot grapes. Aged in old oak barrels for 19 months. Light to medium bodied with a ruby to garnet hue.
