This vintage of Kerner has been on an upward trajectory ever since we first tasted it in 2018. Displaying the richer, aromatic, and honestly more intruiging side of Kerner, it has a bouquet of sweet white flowers, aromatic orchard fruits, with a nicely balanced sweetness. Our Classic Cuvée is made using the traditional Champagne method and grapes. Hand-selected Pinot Noir, Burgundy clone, and Pinot Blanc make up this vintage, with the base wines barrel fermented in French Limousin oak.
Its structure has the robust acidity and minerality you would expect; however, this English cousin has depth, distinctive fruit flavours with a delicate floral twist and a biscuit-dry finish.

Our award winning red is a vibrant blend of Pinot Noir and Rondo which takes its name from the historic St Edmundsbury Cathedral which once grew vines within its abbey walls. In the medieval period, a third of the tithe to Rome was paid in hogsheads of wine. It is this heritage which has inspired our best-selling English red.
A rich purple inky hue with aromas of vanilla, blackcurrant and toasted spices followed by a vibrant brambly palate with underlying savoury notes on the finish.

On the back of the hot summer of 2022, we left a further 689 vines of Solaris to ripen further. 28 days after harvesting our main Solaris crop, the berries turned a wonderful golden brown and started to dehydrate on the vine.
Packed full of banana & toffee flavours, lifted with some floral notes and held together with a refreshing acidity. This dessert wine pairs perfectly with some Shropshire Blue cheese.
