The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. Fast forward to today, and this iconic winery has carefully crafted each blend to showcase the unique characteristics of its terroir, resulting in wines that are both complex and approachable.
This wine is a crafted blend of flavours and textures, showcasing the best of Margaret River Shiraz. This 16 Hectares Shiraz is a medium-bodied delight, with a rich array of dark fruit flavours, including red cherry, blackberry, and spiced plum. These flavours are beautifully complemented by layers of cedar and warm spice, adding depth and complexity to the wine. With its finely textured tannins and refreshing acidity, this wine is both elegant and refined. Makarounas Winery is a family winery located on the beautiful village of Letymbou, a region with a long tradition in vine growing. Letymbou is located 14 kilometres east of the city of Pafos, on the west coast of Cyprus, and the Makarounas family have a viticultural history dating back four generations in the region. Makarounas Winery has the privilege of being the only winery in Cyprus that sources grapes solely from their privately-owned vineyards. The winery produces wines of ample power but with excellent drinkability, with a focus on indigenous grape varieties of Cyprus and organic viticulture.
This 100% Xynisteri is own-rooted bush vines ranging from 20-101 years old. The wine bursts with the flavour of preserved lemons, seasalt, and fresh citrus.

Our Charmat Rosé was the first of its kind to be produced in the UK. Made using the Charmat method that requires secondary fermentation in tank rather than bottle. The wine is uniquely English – fruity, vibrant, sassy and fun!

Non vintage English Sparkling Brut Reserve. Typically 2 ½ to 3 years on lees, blended with 2 to 3 prior years’ reserve wines. The wine is only released after a further 6-12 months on cork.
This elegant brut sparkling blend showcases a harmonious balance of flavours. The 40% Chardonnay provides a rich, creamy texture, while the 50% Pinot Noir adds depth and complexity. The 10% Pinot Meunier contributes a subtle fruitiness and delicate acidity. On the palate, expect notes of green apple, toasted brioche, and a hint of citrus, all wrapped up in a crisp, refreshing finish.

Back in our cellars once more following on from successful 2018 & 2020 vintages. This Rondo and Regent blend has been fermented on skins for three weeks and pressed into tank; before transferred into barrel. Individual Regent and Rondo barrels were selected to create this 50:50 blend.
Subtle oak notes on the nose merge well with black forest fruits and floral notes. A richer, darker palate than the single variety Regent yet a softer, smoother finish. 11.5%

This wine has been awarded two Silver medals from the 2023 WineGB Awards and the 2023 WineGB West Awards.
This is made with our Pinot Noir from the steepest vineyard parcel and has spent four years on the lees.
