A multi award winning rich, full-bodied dry white wine from Burgundy. With notes of floral scents orange blossom, honeysuckle, and acacia flowers, fruity flavours of white peach, pear, green apple, golden apple, and apricot. Isabel Estate Chardonnay 2023 (6 Bottles) Marlborough, New Zealand

Isabel Estate is one of the original Marlborough vineyards with some of the oldest vines in the region on original rootstock. Throughout the 1980s the couple planted key noble varietals and began to deliver fruit of exceptional quality, in high demand from premium and internationally renowned wine producers. Under the leadership of Chief Winemaker Jeremy McKenzie, the winery continues to build its reputation for award winning Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir but is also producing world class Chardonnay. Recognised and awarded, the estate has won. All fruit is estate grown from the 54 hectares of vines, most of which are now organic.
This Chardonnay is a powerful and complex wine displaying notes of gunsmoke, white peach, and nectarine, with hints of lemon and lime. The palate shows roasted almond and brioche notes with an underlying grapefruit citrus note giving the wine length and vibrancy. Mineral. Linear, lengthy, fine acidity carries the wine and gives it great ageability.
