Biddenden Vineyards Ortega (6 Bottles) Biddenden, Kent, England

Semi-aromatic on the nose, displaying appealing fresh aromas of green apple, grapefruit, cut grass and flora, whilst the palate is medium bodied, crisp and deliciously fruity. May be served as an aperitif, this white would also pair well with lightly spicy dishes and seafood.
Ortega is our signature wine and was one of the first varieties planted in 1969. We have been producing our popular Biddenden Ortega since 1972, and have kept the original Germanic style label as a historical memento.
Biddenden was one of the first vineyards to plant Ortega in the UK in the late 1960’s. Today Ortega covers just over half of the vineyard. Ortega grapes ripen early and are known for their low acidity and high sugar levels. Ortega is widely used in dry still wines, and can also be used to make sweet wines.

An elegant English sparkling rosé with a delicate copper pink hue. Made using 100% Pinot Noir grapes and aged on lees for 33 months. The extended lees ageing adds depth and complexity to the wine, resulting in a creamy texture that is well-balanced and refreshing.
This sparkling rosé is perfect for special occasions or as a luxurious treat for wine enthusiasts.
A dry, crisp sparkling rosé, with aromas of wild strawberry and red apple, coupled with a hint of pastry and a creamy mousse finish.
Winding Wood Brut Rosé 2020 (6 Bottles) Hungerford, Berkshire, England

This is our second release of sparkling rosé. Pressed, fermented, and bottled at Offbeat Wines by Daniel Ham, our winemaker. The grapes were hand-harvested and a whole bunch pressed. The wine underwent secondary fermentation in the bottle and then spent 18 months on its yeast lees and a further 6 months ‘on cork’. Released June 2023. This is a 100% pinot-based rosé — a departure from our first which contained a blend of chardonnay and pinot.
