Delicate notes of tropical passion fruit add an enticing aromatic layer, enhancing its crisp and refreshing character. The bright fruit profile is balanced with subtle floral undertones, delivering a well-rounded and elegant finish. Perfect for warm days or pairing with light dishes, this wine showcases a harmonious blend of freshness and aromatic complexity.

Gusbourne Late Disgorged Brut Reserve 2013 (6 Bottles) Appledore, Kent, England

£630.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

This Library Release wine has been gently maturing in our cellars. A Pinot Noir-dominated blend from a cool vintage, this wine is elegant and nuanced with layers of complex flavours. The overall impression is bright and vibrant. Notes of red currant, red fruits and orange zest sitting alongside cloves, cherry bark and a delicious succulent apricot note. The finish is complex and long.

Every year, we release a small number of late-disgorged wines. These are particularly luxurious and fine thanks to a special winemaking technique.

If you’re already familiar with Dom Perignon’s Plénitude or Bollinger’s RD, then you know the magical combination of freshness allied with delicious flavours of brioche, cream, butter and toast that characterise late-disgorged wines.

But how does this kind of ageing alchemy happen? The answer lies in the lees.
