Black Chalk Wild Sparkling Rosé 2021 (6 Bottles) Andover, Hampshire, England

£270.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Blend: 55% Pinot Noir, 31% Pinot Meunier, 14% Chardonnay

Wild Rose Sparkling Rosé captivates with its delicate wild-rose pink hue, exuding elegance and complexity. On the nose, vibrant aromas of ripe red berries intertwine with subtle floral nuances.

The palate is a delightful balance of freshness and bright fruit, with luscious notes of strawberries and raspberries complemented by a soft, creamy texture, a result of partial malolactic fermentation. This harmonious interplay concludes with a beautifully long, refined finish.

Aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees and rested an additional six months on cork post-disgorgement, this sparkling rosé demonstrates exceptional maturity and finesse.

Wild Rose shines alongside sashimi and maki rolls, enhanced by the salty tang of soy sauce and the zing of fresh ginger. It also pairs effortlessly with charcuterie boards and cheese platters. For a casual yet elevated option, try it with spicy lamb koftas, flatbreads, and a cooling burrata and tomato salad.

Telmo Rodríguez Basa Verdejo 2023 (6 Bottles) Rueda, Spain

£114.00
by Bancroft Wines

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Telmo Rodriguez is one of the most well-known personalities in Spanish winemaking. Though his family home is in Rioja Alavesa, Telmo’s influence can be felt in many regions of Spain. For more than 30 years, Telmo and his business partner, Pablo Eguzkiza, have been rediscovering historic vineyards and investing in infrastructure. Telmo and Pablo were one of the first modern-day winemakers to arrive in Valdeorras and helped bring attention to the incredible terraced vineyards of Ladeiras do Xil. This part of Galicia is the domain of Godello and Mencia, both varieties are often planted in tiny vineyard plots on granitic soils.

A clean, vibrant nose reveals lively aromas of green apple and pear, accented by subtle hints of fresh herbs. The palate is bright and balanced, with crisp acidity that brings harmony and lift. A gentle herbaceous note lingers on the finish, showcasing both depth and excellent varietal character.

13.5% ABV, Vegan Friendly.

Frome Valley Bacchus 2022 (6 Bottles) Bishops Frome, Herefordshire, England

£95.00

This is a classic English wine: light, dry with elderflower notes. Like the Greek god, it loves a good time. It is full bodied, has a full bouquet and is ideal with poultry, salads and all vegetable dishes.

Oatley Leonora’s 2018 (6 Bottles) Bridgwater, Somerset, England

£114.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Lemons, limes and grapefruit with some minerality on the palate. Dry and complex.

Made with the rare Kernling grape, a variety related to Reisling and shares it's aging potential. Our Leonora's wines happily age for more than 10 years, developing honey and orange blossom.

The 2018 vintage is dry, complex and starting to develop the classic "petrol" aromas associated with good Reisling and the lemon/lime is evolving into pink grapefruit. Pairs well with anything you would squeeze lemon on (oysters, perhaps?).
