Château Saint-Maur Cuvée Azur IGP Méditerranée Rosé 2024 (6 Bottles) Provence, France

£179.00
by Bancroft Wines

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Owned by Roger Zannier, Château Saint-Maur is one of the finest properties in Provence. A few kilometres from Saint-Tropez, Saint-Maur is one of only eighteen estates that have been awarded Cru Classé status in the region. The Clos de Capelune vineyard, on the heights of Collobrières, overlooks the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. At 449m of altitude, these are the highest vines in the Côtes de Provence appellation.

This rosé shines with a gleaming lychee-coloured hue accented by golden flecks. On the nose, it bursts with expressive aromas of small red berries, offering a vibrant and fruity character. The palate is refreshingly light and lively, with tangy hints reminiscent of fruit drops, resulting in a bright and easy-drinking style.

13% ABV.

Llanerch Rondo (6 Bottles) Pontyclun, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales

£180.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

Nestled near the majestic Garth Mountain in the Rhondda Valley, Llanerch Estate's Rondo pays tribute to its scenic surroundings.

This ruby-red, soft Rondo enchants with hints of vanilla, dark cherries, and a damson nose, creating an aromatic tapestry. As a medium-bodied red, it balances richness with a light touch, featuring notes of dark currants and a hint of pepper on the palate. Gentle oak and light tannins lead to a pleasing finish, making it an excellent choice for diverse culinary pairings or savouring on its own. A celebration of Rhondda Valley's unique terroir, this Rondo promises a memorable taste experience mirroring its remarkable landscape.

Albourne Estate Red Pinot Noir 2019 (6 Bottles) Albourne, West Sussex, England

£130.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

This is our second vintage of Red Pinot Noir and displays a deeper, richer ruby colour and a more complex nose than our 2018 version. This is partly due to the vintage and partly due to increased use of the ‘saignee’ method during winemaking. The nose offers aromas of rich dark berries including black cherries backed by notes of cigarbox, black olives and dark chocolate. On the palate it delivers excellent body for a cool climate Pinot Noir with mature soft tannins, a balanced mouthfeel and a harmonious lingering finish. All of this wine has spent 12 months in a mix of new and old French oak barrels before being bottled by hand, unfined and unfiltered, under cork to allow gentle ageing.

Highly enjoyable with charcuteries cheese and nuts as an aperitif and great with a casserole or barbecued meats and vegetables.
