Palacios Remondo is a family-owned winery based in Alfaro, in Rioja Oriental, the warmest and most easterly part of the Rioja appellation. The soils here are silty and alluvial and the semi-arid Mediterranean climate is well-suited to growing Garnacha, a variety that is finally coming back into the foreground in this region, after decades of being supplanted by the more popular Tempranillo.
This wine has great phenolic maturity and a salty herb-sour edge to intense almost tarry dark Garnacha. The palate has a fantastic acid-tannin reach which drags clay spice and floral red berry along and along and along ... It’s long, complex, fresh, vital and complete.

100% fermented in neutral Burgundy barrels, full malolactic fermentation followed by periodic lees stirring.
Complex nose with aromas of juicy stone fruits, hazelnut and citrus zest wrapped around a core of minerality. The palate is rich, poised and expressive, with great texture and balance. The finish is long and focused, with lingering flavours of ripe nectarine and crushed almonds.

A vibrant English sparkling wine with bright citrus notes and crisp freshness. It has a medium lemon colour and fine delicate bubbles. Attractive aromas of acacia blossom and lemon peel mingle with orchard fruits, including green apple and ripe pear plus mild brioche and subtle notes of pastry. On the palate it is deliciously crisp and dry with zest acidity and a lively mousse. Telmo Rodriguez is one of the most well-known personalities in Spanish winemaking. Though his family home is in Rioja Alavesa, Telmo’s influence can be felt in many regions of Spain. For more than 30 years, Telmo and his business partner, Pablo Eguzkiza, have been rediscovering historic vineyards and investing in infrastructure. Telmo and Pablo were one of the first modern-day winemakers to arrive in Valdeorras and helped bring attention to the incredible terraced vineyards of Ladeiras do Xil. This part of Galicia is the domain of Godello and Mencia, both varieties are often planted in tiny vineyard plots on granitic soils.
A clean, vibrant nose reveals lively aromas of green apple and pear, accented by subtle hints of fresh herbs. The palate is bright and balanced, with crisp acidity that brings harmony and lift. A gentle herbaceous note lingers on the finish, showcasing both depth and excellent varietal character.
