A classic dry sparkling wine with a refined elegance. The colour is pale lemon straw with a steady stream of minute bubbles.
It has appealing floral aromas of apple blossom interlaced with ripe melon and constance pear plus a delicate thread of minerality. On the palate the fine mousse marries citrus flavours of grapefruit and Sicilian lemon with a crystalline structure and zesty acidity.
The autolytic character is subtle. It has excellent poise and a persistent finish.

This has enough ‘classic chard’ to please traditionalists, but real intrigue via lemon and mountain herb notes to interest the keenest of inquisitive palettes. Our Charmat Rosé was the first of its kind to be produced in the UK. Made using the Charmat method that requires secondary fermentation in tank rather than bottle. The wine is uniquely English – fruity, vibrant, sassy and fun!

On the palate, a vibrant, fruit-driven profile emerges, led by citrus notes of lemon and lime, followed by layers of green apple and apricot.
