Monte del Frà (meaning ‘land of the monks’) gets its name from the late 15th century, when a group of Friars formed a monastery on the land. Some hundred years later, the friars leased 25 hectares for the cultivation of vineyards and fruit trees. You can, in fact, still see this document today in the Vienna’s historic library. Fast forward several centuries, and Monte del Frà is now in the very capable hands of the Bonomo family. For over six decades the family have farmed this land, now resting firmly with the third generation; Marica, Silvia and Massimo Bonomo.
Vibrant ruby red colour. Fruity and spicy aromas such as red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, cinnamon, cloves and black pepper. Light body with medium acidity, fruity and spicy the flavours remains true to the nose.

Establishing itself as one of the UK 'signature varietals', Madeleine is a very distinctive early ripening grape with a thin skin and a very floral, delicate character. It grows with great exuberance here and often overcrops.
A light and delicate bouquet with a refreshing burst of zingy lemon on the palate followed by distinctive elderflower. A dry and refreshing still white, offering depth and a smooth minerality but balanced with crisp acidity on the palate.

Our wonderful Sloe de Vie displays delicious fruit flavours of sloes hand-picked at the peak of ripeness following our harvest on the vineyard in 2015. Once fermented, the sloe wine was triple distilled and then bottled.

Due to an ideal vintage in 2022, Matt Abbey our winemaker, has produced our first still Chardonnay; with pleasing results. Hand-harvested fruit from our vineyard and fermented in stainless steel. Aged in a combination of new and aged Hungarian oak for six months.
Beautiful aromas of honeysuckle, vanilla and tropical fruits leading to a soft, buttery palate with stone fruits and a soft textured finish. Eleven barrels have been produced and one to enjoy for years to come. Perfect with richer foods. 13.5%
Nutbourne Pinot Gris 2022 (6 Bottles) Pulborough, West Sussex, England

Our first release from the 2018 plantings, this limited edition wine is made from 100% Pinot Gris. This still white wine is beautifully rounded, with bright floral notes, delicate pear and stone fruit.
A portion of the wine was matured in French oak barrels and aged for six months to add richness and body.
Perfect when paired with fresh seafood such as crab linguine, scallops or with a platter of antipasti.
The art: Nutbourne wines are a family affair, made only from grapes grown on the estate, and every bottle features a Bridget Gladwin painting on the label, selected to complement the wine. This painting of the Seven Sisters cliffs was created high on the Sussex Downs on a bright, blustery day. it captures a kaleidoscope of colours, freshness and light from the sea, landscape and sky.

An exciting ruby red medium-bodied English wine. Dedham Vale Reserve yields inviting red berry aromas while developing complex flavours of redcurrants, raspberries and liquorice, leavened by gentle tannins from time spent ageing in French Limousine oak barrels that linger lovingly on the palate.
It is made by blending four different varieties of grape - Rondo, Dornfelder, Dunkelfelder and Pinot Noir. It is drinking well now at 16°C and will develop over the coming years. The Reserve is a perfect accompaniment to all meat and pasta dishes and an imaginative alternative to Claret.

An off-dry English sparkling wine with refined fruit character. It has a pale golden hue with a steady stream of tiny bubbles.
Floral aromas of almond blossom and honeysuckle dance on the nose, with fragrant stone fruits including yellow nectarine and quince. It has the scent of summer meadows alongside attractive aromas of freshly baked shortbread and sweet brioche. The palate is off-dry with honeyed fruit, sweet apple compote and stewed medlar. It has a wonderful creamy mousse and a silky texture as smooth as panna cotta.
There are hints of frangipane and bakewell tart with a tasty layer of sweet almond paste running through it. It has balancing acidity to counteract the sweetness so the result is exquisitely off-dry with a lingering finish.
Perfect for celebrations such as christenings or a baby shower, or simply enjoy it with afternoon tea. Serve well-chilled in a flute alongside sweet canapés such as mini strawberry short-cake or individual fruit tarts. Also good with creamy fruit desserts such as summer trifle or panna cotta with a red berry coulis. Anthonij Rupert Wyne was founded on the farm, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek. Originally owned by the late Anthonij Rupert, who passed away in 2001, the farm was eventually taken over by his brother Johann Rupert in 2003 and the brand named after him. It was Johann Rupert who constructed a state-of-theart winemaking facility, catapulting the farm into a prestigious wine estate. The focus is on terroir specific wines and therefore it would seem obvious that the brand is made up of an impressive portfolio of farms representing the best in grape producing locations. The portfolio is made up of L’Ormarins from Franschhoek, Rooderust from Darling, Riebeeksrivier from the Swartland and Altima from isolated Elandskloof. Each site offers optimum varietal specific growing conditions, allowing Anthonij Rupert Wyne to adhere to the requirements of their different brands.
This wine offers a complex bouquet of fruitcake, cedar, cocoa, and a delicate hint of dried lavender. On the palate, it is broad, fleshy, and succulent, delivering the same depth of flavour promised by the nose. The spice-infused cedar combines beautifully with rich dark fruitcake notes. The texture is wonderfully soft, rounded, and silky, showcasing cohesion and refinement. It possesses impressive density and concentration without feeling overpowering, and the oak influence from maturation is seamlessly integrated.
