Harrow & Hope Blanc de Noirs 2019 (6 Bottles) Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
After the bold, broad, and almost brutish 2018 release, the 2019 is cut from a different cloth. A cooler and less abundant year suited the Pinot considerably better than the Chardonnay.
80% of this wine is fermented using natural wild yeast in a selection of different-sized oak barrels. It certainly has that signature Pinot intensity but is wrapped in an elegant and refined structure that is a hallmark of 2019. For those who remember 2015, this is very similar in structure and a wine that continues to develop a singular identity that makes it stand out from the crowd, no doubt our most complex wine to date.
Gusbourne Commanders Vineyard Chardonnay 2022 (6 Bottles) Appledore, Kent, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
An opulent still Chardonnay from a single-vineyard plot on our estate, Commanders Vineyard. This is an elegant wine with tropical fruit flavours, a mineral note and creamy, toasty character.
An opulent, fruit driven nose full of ripe pear, stone fruit and lemon peel, alongside sweet spice, vanilla and a delicate smoky note. On the palate, there’s lots of tropical fruits, fresh citrus, white peach and a salty mineral note. The wine is beautifully elegant and the mouthfeel is generous and creamy, with toasty, buttery characters leading to a freshness on the long, lingering finish.
Blackbook “Trouble Every Day” Pinot Noir 2022 (6 Bottles) Battersea, London, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
A stark contrast to our core pinot noir, Nightjar, both in style and character, “Trouble Every Day” is made from a single pinot noir clone chosen for its exceptional flavour and structure. The grapes were hand picked and sorted in the vineyard and transported to our Battersea winery. Fermented naturally in small open top fermenters and aged in Burgundy oak barrels.
The wine expresses autumnal fruits, such as blackberry, bramble, black cherries and intense spice notes. The wine is refined, yet has crunchy tannins and length. Unfined and unfiltered.
Raimes Blanc De Blancs 2018 (6 Bottles) Alresford, Hampshire, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes and bottle-fermented in the traditional method, this wine is both complex and refined. Partial use of oak barrels and extended lees ageing contribute to its depth and character. The result is a beautifully integrated wine with vibrant fruit notes, zesty lemon, and a delicate hint of brioche, offering elegance and balance in every sip.
