Displaying a delicate, pale lemon hue, this complex sparkling wine has honeyed beeswax and subtle baked apple aromas. The palate is a harmonious blend of richer and fresh fruit, with creamy apple and pear flavours and a delicate hint of vanilla on the finish from the well integrated oak ageing.
While this would serve as a wonderful aperitif, it would go down equally well with creamy, crème fraîche chicken pasta with pancetta; or with a Normandy style Moules with Cider, or lighter roast dishes such as pork tenderloin with fennel.

There are so few 'still' Chardonnays in the UK for which I use the term 'sophisticated'. I have no doubt they will come, but Goldenford is already here, and it is an absolute gem. Silky, linear, resonant and singular, this thrilling wine blows my mind at only £18! I have said it before, and it bears repeating- the wines from Greyfriars are the finest value in our land, and this beautiful wine is genuinely world-class from a taste perspective and also from a pounds, shillings and pence reckoning. if only I still owned my wine bar- would buy a pallet at the drop of a hat!"

The Lady of Charmat is a multi-vintage sparkling brut rosé made from grapes grown at Off The Line vineyard. The fruit was whole-bunched pressed and aged in stainless steel tanks with a secondary fermentation taking place in a tank, a method known as ‘the Charmat method’.
This vivid pink, dry sparkling rosé is easy drinking and fruit driven. It has definition and expresses red fruit flavours with character and identity.

The Rondo is whole bunch pressed and fermented in Stainless Steel tanks to preserve the rich berry fruits. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are whole bunch pressed and aged in French oak 225L barrels to add smooth structure and body. There are aromas of Citrus, Mulberry, blackcurrants and strawberries coupled with delicious summer fruit freshness on the palate. Our first Première Cuvée Rosé is a blend based on the 2016 harvest. The style is a more vinous and gastronomic version of rosé based on the saignée method. A longer lees ageing – the wine was bottled in 2017 and disgorged in 2022 – gives the depth and complexity worthy of our Première range.
The colour is a delicate strawberry pink, with just a suggestion of bronze and onion skin. The bouquet springs from the glass, immediate and assertive, rich with sweet summer raspberry fruit and subtle autumnal blackberry.
Coolhurst Côtes de Provence Rosé 2023 (6 Bottles) Horsham, West Sussex, England via Provence

Our elegant rosé is made from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah, all grown on the best terroirs of the Côtes de Provence A.O.C.
Our secret blend is made to appeal. The big names in Provence have all gone on the same journey; tightening their wines up and restricting the length of the finish, whereas our recipe is considerably more ‘old school’.
The Cinsault variety gives the wine its softness, with the Grenache providing body and the Syrah giving the roundness of the red fruit which is amplified by our special assemblage.
There is plenty of upfront fruit on the palate giving a huge strawberries and cream mouthful, before drifting towards peaches and pears, finally delivering a lemony edge with incredible length and a moreish finish.
