Sandridge Barton Blanc de Noirs 2020 (6 Bottles) Stoke Gabriel, Devon, England

£276.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

This is the first sparkling wine in our Sandridge Barton range, and it has certainly hit the ground running, winning a 'Master' medal at the Global Sparkling Wine Awards 2023 and is one of only 7 wines to achieve this top award out of 230 entries.

Made with 100% Pinot Noir from the best parcels, it's fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts in second fill French oak barrels where it spends a further 10 months on gross lees. We bottled this wine for second fermentation in June 2021, where it spent a further 18 months on the lees in bottle. We disgorged this wine with no dosage added, so it comes in at 0 g/l of residual sugar.

Raspberry gold in colour, with delicate aromas of rhubarb, fresh orchard fruits and cooked apple. The palate is dry, with delicate tart red berry flavours and subtle autolytic characters of baked bread and puff pastry. This leads you into a long finish lifted by the ripe and fruit-driven acidity.

Harrow & Hope Blanc de Noirs 2019 (6 Bottles) Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England

£252.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

After the bold, broad, and almost brutish 2018 release, the 2019 is cut from a different cloth. A cooler and less abundant year suited the Pinot considerably better than the Chardonnay.

80% of this wine is fermented using natural wild yeast in a selection of different-sized oak barrels. It certainly has that signature Pinot intensity but is wrapped in an elegant and refined structure that is a hallmark of 2019. For those who remember 2015, this is very similar in structure and a wine that continues to develop a singular identity that makes it stand out from the crowd, no doubt our most complex wine to date.

Black Chalk Classic Sparkling White 2021 (6 Bottles) Andover, Hampshire, England

£240.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

A sophisticated blend of 50% Chardonnay, 38% Pinot Noir, and 12% Pinot Meunier, this wine embodies elegance and precision. The Chardonnay-led profile delivers a vibrant fruit focus, while a touch of malolactic fermentation adds a layer of richness and texture, perfectly balanced by the wine’s hallmark freshness.

On the palate, expect a textured and full-bodied experience, supported by bright acidity (8.5g/l) and subtle sweetness (5.4g/l residual sugar). The wine is aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees, enhancing complexity, with an additional 6 months on cork post-disgorgement to ensure perfect integration.

A versatile choice for any occasion. Enjoy as an aperitif with crisps and canapés, or elevate everyday dining by pairing with fried chicken. For a more refined match, complement its freshness and texture with shellfish such as oysters, crab, or prawns.
