The wine presents a generous bouquet of stone fruit notes white peach and honeysuckle with fresh citrus bursts. These delicate notes are brought together to create a wine with great clarity, a unifying minerality and slight viscosity. Pair with white fish, dishes with creamy sauces and fresh salads.
100% Pinot Gris from an Alsatian grape varietal, the grapes were pressed in early October. After low
temperature fermentation the wine was left in tank over winter but not allowed to go through
malolactic fermentation to preserve the fresh acidity.

This limited-edition release of only 1,400 bottles comes from the small but exquisitely formed 2022 vintage. The name, Goldenford, honours the Saxon name for Guildford and was the winning entry in a competition to create a name for this unique wine.
This elegant yet generous wine is bursting with aromas of ripe stone fruit such as white peach and nectarine, alongside a sprinkling of vanilla from the well-integrated oak ageing.

This Library Release wine has been gently maturing in our cellars. A Pinot Noir-dominated blend from a cool vintage, this wine is elegant and nuanced with layers of complex flavours. Juicy, crunchy, vibrant Pinot Noir all held in an elegant, very ‘classic’ structure. Concentrated brambles (blackberry) and black cherry, damson fruit overlaid with quintessential Pinot perfumed aromatics and subtle dry spice. Subtle fennel and violet give further aromatic complexity and intrigue. Medium-light, chalky tannins give the wine great texture, acidity is refreshing but well-integrated and harmonious. Long, complete finish with all components pulling-together to the end.
Sandridge Barton Sharpham Classic Cuvée 2021 (6 Bottles) Stoke Gabriel, Devon, England

A subtle oxidative style of sparkling wine produced in the traditional method and matured on the lees for 20 months. We have built more complexity into the base wine, maturing in French oak and on the lees prior to bottling, which offers up a more savoury style of English sparkling wine.
The colour has an amber hint in the glass and aromas of baked red apple, sultana, caramel and lemon rind. The palate is dry and has flavours of red apple and toasted baking spice, with a focussed acidity, soft lees tannin and delicate mousse.
