A super light red wine with aromas of tart red berries, red apple and blackcurrant. The palate is light and delicate with flavours of sour cherry and cranberry and supported by a focused acidity and low to no tannin. Chill this bottle down and treat it like a cross between a red and rosé!
This wine is part of our new Don't Feed The Ponies range of more experimental wines, a reference to a campaign on Dartmoor National Park to discourage visitors from feeding the wild horses that roam there. The source of the River Dart begins way up in the heart of the moors, and it's the river that influences how our grapes grow.
Melbury Vale Batch #02 The Signature (6 Bottles) Shaftesbury, Dorset, England

When Melbury Vale first built their winery, that vintage yielded a very small crop of what became the original Signature wine. It was a one-off bottling that represented a light fruity red wine that could be enjoyed throughout the summertime. Fast forward a few years later and our winemaker, through some blending trials, found that some of the 2018 red blend mixed with the 2018 rosé wine in tank created a juicy, fruity, flavorful light red we couldn’t stop sipping. The 2018 rosé was slightly different from the 2019 Virtue we bottled, so we decided to use the rosé in a fun, experimental way. While it’s not typical to blend red and rosé wine, once the blending started we felt like we had created something novice wine lovers all the way to oenophiles would enjoy and appreciate. On the nose you immediately pick up notes of wild cherry, fig, and bramble, while the palate is a burst of cranberry, pomegranate, and hibiscus. Best served slightly chilled, this is a crowd pleaser and is a great base wine for a party jug of a sangria type wine cocktail.
Food Pairings: charcuterie spread with cured meats, hard cheeses, grilled peppers, artichokes, and olives. Could also stand up to any dark chocolate dessert because of the bright fruitiness. Also try with balsamic macerated berries.

This third release of our “SB” is a refreshing sparkling wine with deliciously English Sauvignon Blanc aromas of nettle, gooseberry & grass, heightened by flavours on the palate that deliver a savoury note. Soft and dry with a lovely sparkle, the wine is bright and fresh with hints of soft greengage and tomato leaf.
This wine works incredibly well on its own as an aperitif but it will also pair beautifully with pan- fried Dover sole with lemon and caper butter or grilled chicken breast with lemon and thyme, fresh seafood starters, and mild creamy cheeses.

Isabel Estate is one of the original Marlborough vineyards with some of the oldest vines in the region on original rootstock. Throughout the 1980s the couple planted key noble varietals and began to deliver fruit of exceptional quality, in high demand from premium and internationally renowned wine producers. Under the leadership of Chief Winemaker Jeremy McKenzie, the winery continues to build its reputation for award winning Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir but is also producing world class Chardonnay. Recognised and awarded, the estate has won. All fruit is estate grown from the 54 hectares of vines, most of which are now organic.
This Pinot Noir is a mesmerising ruby-red hue sets the stage for an aromatic experience that unfolds with a symphony of wild flowers, fragrant violets, and lively red cherry notes. More cranberry than strawberry, this is classic Balfour; dry, precise and powerful. Richer than some of its predecessors, the 2019 reflects one of the best years in English viticultural history. A complex wine that is more than just primary fruit, there are notes of burnt orange combined with a wonderful herbaceous note on the finish.
Balfour Brut Rosé is one of England’s most recognisable wines, our flagship, and for six years the only wine made by Balfour. It is a single-vineyard wine from our Oast House Meadow vineyard, planted in 2002 with clones and rootstocks specifically chosen to make a world-class sparkling rosé.

Josef Chromy is one of Tasmania's most famous influential wine figures, having owned and developed some of the state's most prominent wineries, including Rochecombe (now Bay Of Fires), Jansz, Tamar Ridge and Heemskerk vineyards. On the back of the hot summer of 2022, we left a further 689 vines of Solaris to ripen further. 28 days after harvesting our main Solaris crop, the berries turned a wonderful golden brown and started to dehydrate on the vine.
