Cielo e Terra has dual roots in the Veneto region: the Cielo family and the winemakers of the Cantine dei Colli Berici. The Cielo family’s bond with the land dates back to 1908 in the Vicenza countryside, near the Castles of Romeo and Juliet, where the great-grandfather had bought Casa Defrà, a small farm with a vineyard. They enjoy making wines with passion and innovation to create signature versions of traditional Italian wines, looking for the right balance between personality and easy-drinking.
This wine reveals a delicate light pink hue, reflecting its fresh and vibrant character. The bouquet is lively and persistent, offering inviting fruity aromas with notes of pineapple and strawberry. On the palate, it is soft and slightly mineral, delivering a well-rounded, balanced profile. Fruity nuances continue through the finish, which is smooth and enduring, with a gentle aromatic lift that adds finesse.

Grown in Sussex, just 35 miles from our winery, the grapes are hand-picked and sorted in the vineyard. Whole bunch pressed and fermented using indigenous yeast in old burgundy barrels. The wine underwent natural malolactic fermentation and aged for a total of 7 months with frequent lees stirring. Our pinot meunier is a delicate interpretation of the variety lending itself to aromas of raspberry, mandarin peel, red floral notes, grapefruit, with hints of citrus zest, and dried cranberry.

This Central Otago Pinot Noir has aromas of cherry, redcurrant and thyme are underpinned by hints of rose petal and subtle spice. Fine tannins frame the vibrant red fruit, savoury undertones and a touch of earthiness from the whole bunch. A vibrant English sparkling wine with bright citrus notes and crisp freshness. It has a medium lemon colour and fine delicate bubbles. Attractive aromas of acacia blossom and lemon peel mingle with orchard fruits, including green apple and ripe pear plus mild brioche and subtle notes of pastry. On the palate it is deliciously crisp and dry with zest acidity and a lively mousse. Citrus flavours of lemon and yuzu marry greengage and mirabelle plum alongside exotic hints of kumquat and cashew nut. It shows a wonderful purity and saline minerality with a tangy finish.
Serve this dry, sparkling wine well-chilled in a flute as an aperitif. Pair it with canapés including smoked salmon blinis or fish goujons. Enjoy it with Japanese sushi amnd sashimi. Also good with Scandinavian-inspired dishes such as pickled herring or soused mackerel or mild fusion flavours such as yuzu and sea bass ceviche, or thai-style mussels.

A stark contrast to our core pinot noir, Nightjar, both in style and character, “Trouble Every Day” is made from a single pinot noir clone chosen for its exceptional flavour and structure. The grapes were hand picked and sorted in the vineyard and transported to our Battersea winery. Fermented naturally in small open top fermenters and aged in Burgundy oak barrels.
The wine expresses autumnal fruits, such as blackberry, bramble, black cherries and intense spice notes. The wine is refined, yet has crunchy tannins and length. Unfined and unfiltered.
