With passion and purpose Red Hut was launched and embodies the spirit of New Zealand, they are inspired by the iconic red huts that shelter adventurers. The Nightjar reserve pinot noir is made using grapes sourced from Clayhill Vineyard in Essex. The wine is matured for a total of 36 months prior to release, 24 in barrel and 12 in bottle, gaining texture and complexity allowing the potential of this wine to shine through. The pinot noir has an essence of refinement that shows the longer term ageing potential of our wines.

Gusbourne Late Disgorged Brut Reserve 2013 (6 Bottles) Appledore, Kent, England

This Library Release wine has been gently maturing in our cellars. A Pinot Noir-dominated blend from a cool vintage, this wine is elegant and nuanced with layers of complex flavours. The overall impression is bright and vibrant. Notes of red currant, red fruits and orange zest sitting alongside cloves, cherry bark and a delicious succulent apricot note. The finish is complex and long.
Every year, we release a small number of late-disgorged wines. These are particularly luxurious and fine thanks to a special winemaking technique.
If you’re already familiar with Dom Perignon’s Plénitude or Bollinger’s RD, then you know the magical combination of freshness allied with delicious flavours of brioche, cream, butter and toast that characterise late-disgorged wines.
But how does this kind of ageing alchemy happen? The answer lies in the lees.
Hungerhill Merstone Pinot Blanc 2023 (6 Bottles) Bedford, Bedfordshire, England

This white wine starts with a floral and citrus nose and have aromas of citrus, pear, grapefruit and green apple. Is refreshing on the palate and has a long finish.
Merstone Pinot Blanc pairs perfectly with creamy pasta and dishes and soft cheeses or can be enjoyed on its own.
Our Pinot Blanc is made from hand-picked grapes, harvested in early October 2023. The Pinot Blanc grapes from Oxfordshire were gently pressed in our winery on the same day. The pale yellow juice was fermented partialy in a stainless steel tank and a third vintage oak barrel from Burgundy, before being bottled in May 2024. The wine is unfiltered, unfined and vegan friendly.

Intricate bouquet of jasmine and cake dough, with toasted almonds and a crunchy acidity.
This 100% Pinot Blanc is an exciting wine with a complex nose of cake batter and jasmine. On the palate, white pears balance with the soft, oak-imparted, notes of lightly toasted almonds. This wine gives a fresh mouthfeel with plenty of crunchy acidity to create a wine that is elegant with great varietal character.
Food Pairing:
The smooth texture and long savoury finish make this a versatile wine for food pairing; try a glass with roast chicken or spicy international dishes. It also pairs beautifully with blue cheese and buttery dishes such as sole meuniére, or seared scallops.
