Bacchus grapes are particularly well suited to our High Weald terroir, and produce a fresh, aromatic, crisp white wine. This 2022 vintage shows all the benefits of the long hot summer in the UK last year and is slightly more rounded and nuanced than our previous vintages, with strong aromas of pear and gooseberry on the nose and palate and with a deliciously smooth finish.
Monte del Frà Bardolino 2024 (6 Bottles) Veneto, Italy

Monte del Frà (meaning ‘land of the monks’) gets its name from the late 15th century, when a group of Friars formed a monastery on the land. Some hundred years later, the friars leased 25 hectares for the cultivation of vineyards and fruit trees. You can, in fact, still see this document today in the Vienna’s historic library. Fast forward several centuries, and Monte del Frà is now in the very capable hands of the Bonomo family. For over six decades the family have farmed this land, now resting firmly with the third generation; Marica, Silvia and Massimo Bonomo.
Vibrant ruby red colour. Fruity and spicy aromas such as red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, cinnamon, cloves and black pepper. Light body with medium acidity, fruity and spicy the flavours remains true to the nose.
12.5% ABV. Vegan Friendly.

This is a versatile English red wine that gets along amicably with a wide variety of dishes. In particular, this Pinot will pair perfectly with rich, earthy flavours. Our multi-vintage blend uses fruit from all varieties and areas of our single vineyard to produce a wine that displays the unique qualities of the whole site. Using reserve wines, aged in oak, that have been carefully built up and nurtured from our very first harvest, we can add layers of complexity and texture to each wine. Every numbered release has it’s own identity and make up, which we love to celebrate. No 8 is based on the wonderful Pinot year that is 2019. It was a cooler and longer ripening season than 2018 and gives this wine a more elegant and focussed structure. The pronounced Pinot character is already giving lovely toasty complexity which will continue to build over the next few years. Enjoy on release but will also reward further ageing.
Blackbook “Pygmalion” Chardonnay 2020 (6 Bottles) Battersea, London, England

The “Pygmalion” is a rich and structured wine, packed with citrus characters, honeydew melon, and pineapple with underlying hazelnut and almond characters.
The grapes are whole bunch pressed into Burgundy barrels where they undergo natural fermentation using indigenous yeast. The wine has matured a further 20 months in barrel with frequent lees stirring.
Melbury Vale Dusk (6 Bottles) Shaftesbury, Dorset, England

This aromatised wine is our Dorset answer to “blush” wine or dessert in a glass! The rosé base wine is Dorset grown Regent grapes. We bump up the ABV of these wines by fortifying with a small amount of our wine based distilled spirit. We then blend with all natural extracts and pure sugar cane. Because of the slight fortification of this wine, it has a longer shelf life once opened. We recommend a bottle of our aromatised wine can stay open in the fridge for up to 2 weeks – but we don’t expect it to last that long! This amazingly flavorful, slightly sweetened wine is best served chilled, but can be enjoyed just under room temp as well. You can serve it in a pitcher with ice and garnish with fruit, or pour into a glass over ice and top with something fizzy. It’s so fruity, yet complex, it will pair with a surprising amount of savory and spicy foods!

A vibrant English sparkling wine with bright citrus notes and crisp freshness. It has a medium lemon colour and fine delicate bubbles. Attractive aromas of acacia blossom and lemon peel mingle with orchard fruits, including green apple and ripe pear plus mild brioche and subtle notes of pastry. On the palate it is deliciously crisp and dry with zest acidity and a lively mousse. Citrus flavours of lemon and yuzu marry greengage and mirabelle plum alongside exotic hints of kumquat and cashew nut. It shows a wonderful purity and saline minerality with a tangy finish.
Serve this dry, sparkling wine well-chilled in a flute as an aperitif. Pair it with canapés including smoked salmon blinis or fish goujons. Enjoy it with Japanese sushi amnd sashimi. Also good with Scandinavian-inspired dishes such as pickled herring or soused mackerel or mild fusion flavours such as yuzu and sea bass ceviche, or thai-style mussels.
