Antonin Guyon started buying vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin and Meursault in the 1960s. A decade later, his son Dominique added 350 plots in the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. Today, Dominique and his daughter Hombeline, the fifth generation of the family, look after a domaine covering more than fifteen different appellations.
This vibrant, ruby-hued Pinot Noir offers a lifted bouquet of wild strawberry, red cherry, and rose petal, layered with subtle forest floor and gentle spice. the wine showcases purity of fruit and a bright, cool-climate character. On the palate, it is finely structured and crisp, with lively acidity and delicate, chalky tannins framing the red berry core. A touch of sap and spice adds complexity through the mid-palate, leading to a clean, mineral-driven finish with a hint of savoury nuance.

It has attractive floral aromas of acacia, elderflower and citrus blossom along with Sicilian lemons and chalky minerality.
The palate is crisp, dry and exceedingly refreshing with flavours of freshly squeezed lemons, grapefruit, lemongrass and salty minerality on the finish. It shows very pure varietal expression with exquisitely refined structure and definite poise.
Perfect for celebrations, serve well-chilled as an aperitif alongside shellfish canapés such as oysters, mussels or cockles. Great with flat fish such as lemon sole véronique, turbot, brill or dabs. This wine was bottled in early summer 2017 and has now spent six years on the lees, quietly evolving and developing those enhanced autolytic aromas and flavours. Disgorged in May 2023, the nose is still fresh and lively, with inviting biscuit and pastry aromas reminiscent of a lemon tart.

Also awarded a gold medal at the 2021 International Wines & Spirits Competition; the judges commented “Stunning nose of honeycomb, bruised apple and brioche – like a fine dessert with apple four ways. It has lovely poise, classy and complex all held in perfect poise by the bright quintessentially English acidity”.
