Introducing our award-winning Little Waddon Vineyard Sparkling White Col Fondo 2022. Made in the Italian ancestral method, Col Fondo undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, with the lees (sediment) adding complexity and texture.
Crafted from hand-destemmed, foot-crushed Phoenix and Seyval Blanc grapes grown on our Jurassic Coast vineyard, this low-intervention wine showcases our unique terroir. Wild fermentation, malolactic fermentation, cold curing over winter, and bottle fermentation create delicate frizzante bubbles.
The wine offers aromas of honeysuckle, peach, and almond, balanced by fresh lime acidity and an elderflower finish. Winner of Silver at the 2023 WineGB West Competition.

The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. This wine is a crafted blend of flavours and textures, showcasing the best of Margaret River Shiraz. This 16 Hectares Shiraz is a medium-bodied delight, with a rich array of dark fruit flavours, including red cherry, blackberry, and spiced plum. These flavours are beautifully complemented by layers of cedar and warm spice, adding depth and complexity to the wine. With its finely textured tannins and refreshing acidity, this wine is both elegant and refined. The gravelly soils of the Wallcliffe vineyard have imparted a subtle minerality, while the wild-yeast fermentation has added a touch of nuance. This Library Release wine has been gently maturing in our cellars. A Pinot Noir-dominated blend from a cool vintage, this wine is elegant and nuanced with layers of complex flavours. The overall impression is bright and vibrant. Notes of red currant, red fruits and orange zest sitting alongside cloves, cherry bark and a delicious succulent apricot note. The finish is complex and long.

This wine is 100% Bacchus selected from two blocks from our growers in Essex. These grapes showed exceptional quality and ripeness on arrival at the winery and were separated as a premium offering by our winemaking team.

NOSE: An intense nose with layers of gooseberry, pineapple, blackcurrant leaf & lime.
PALATE: A beautiful, balanced wine with excellent structure, including tropical fruit, blackcurrant leaf and a smooth mouthfeel. Steely lime acidity continues into a finish that just keeps on going.
