This single vineyard Charmat method wine is made from Chardonnay, Auxerrois, Seyval Blanc and Reichensteiner grapes.
These grape varieties bring together the oldest and newest planting in the vineyard, ranging from vines planted in the mid 90's through to the Chardonnay planted in 2010. Combining French and Germanic grape varieties to deliver a unique blend which delivers a fruit forward style with notes of green apple and stone fruit with a dry and refreshing finish.

The word Bulari is derived from the Latin word Bullarum, meaning bubbles. The Cotswolds, in which the Poulton Hill Estate is located, is steeped in Roman history, with the Roman town of Cirencester close by.
A beautiful pale gold in appearance, this Bulari has a vibrant nose of freshly cut green apple and pear with citrusy notes of orange peel, lemon and hints of lime zest. The palate is filled with mouth-watering fruits of juicy apple at the forefront, hints of grapefruit and lemon (sherbet) together with a fine mousse creates a wonderfully well rounded mouthfeel with a crisp, clean finish.

Ashdown Boundary Block is made from 100% Merlot grapes. Aged in old oak barrels for 19 months. Light to medium bodied with a ruby to garnet hue. On the nose aromas of plum, blackcurrant, blackberry, almond, rhubarb, Cherry Bakewell and vanilla leading to flavors of cooked cherries, black currant jam, vanilla, cranberries and blackberries.
It is smooth with a good length. Its tannin structure is well balanced and delicate, while still delivering an intense and complex taste. Delightful dry and delicate rosé packed with soft summer fruits. It has a very pale salmon colour and fine legs. On the nose, enticing aromas of wild strawberry and redcurrant are enhanced by peach melba, nectarine and kumquat. Appealing flavours of rosehip, redcurrant and whitecurrant dance on the palate with a touch of ruby grapefruit. Made with the rare Kernling grape, a variety related to Reisling and shares it's aging potential. Our Leonora's wines happily age for more than 10 years, developing honey and orange blossom.
The 2018 vintage is dry, complex and starting to develop the classic "petrol" aromas associated with good Reisling and the lemon/lime is evolving into pink grapefruit. Pairs well with anything you would squeeze lemon on (oysters, perhaps?).
