Natural fermentation, low alcohol dry white wine made from Seyval Blanc grapes from our vineyard in Pembrokeshire.
After a dry, hot summer the 2022 vintage of Naturiol was picked on the 28th October 2022.
It has been naturally fermented meaning no added yeast or sugar, no filtration or fining were used to avoid stripping out the flavour compounds.
On the nose the wine presents fresh and with notes of pear, marizpan and a slight touch of aniseed. On the palate it is light-textured yet brimming with crunchy orchard fruit, such as green apple and yellow pear. A soft mouthfeel, and a long, zingy aftertaste.

The 2019 vintage began with abundant sunshine, a record-hot Easter, and a warm, wet summer. Despite challenges, careful vineyard management yielded clean, flavourful grapes. The blend includes 11% barrel-fermented wine and 12% aged reserve wines, with four years on lees for added complexity. Perfect for celebrations, it pairs beautifully with canapés and laughter. A possibility thanks to the warmer 2022 vintage, the wine is crimson red in colour with a heady blend of fresh raspberries, sweet spice and leather on the nose due to fermentation and maturation in two neutral French oak barrels.
The palate is bright, soft and juicy with macerated red cherries and a touch of freshly ground pepper. An uncomplicated example of the lighter style of still Pinot Noir that can be produced from Burges Field's when vintage conditions allow.

This wine is fresh and aromatic, it has aromas of gooseberry, cassis bud and green pineapple on the nose, followed by a zesty palate of pithy pink grapefruit. A classic English Bacchus.
Bacchus grape is a cross between Müller-Thurgau and Silvaner-Riesling and tastes quite like a Sauvignon Blanc.
A race won ‘on the nod’ is thrilling to watch and is so close it is often decided by a photo of the finish. A perfect name for our Bacchus with its crisps, citrus finish. This Bacchus is particularly suited to spring vegetables like asparagus, peas and broad beans, goats cheese, salads without heavy dressings, shellfish and poached or grilled salmon.
