Domaine Jean Foillard wines enjoy cult-like status. Early on, Jean began to follow the teachings of Jules Chauvet, a traditionalist who defied everything that the more commercial brands were touting in the region. Jean and three other local vignerons, Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Paul Thévenet, and Guy Breton, soon joined in on the movement. The wines are a true and natural expression of Morgon with access to the very best vineyards in one of the most renowned areas of the appellation, the ‘Côtes du Py’, and 60-year-old vines, Jean`s wines are full of life and character and show incredible depth and purity.
The Morgon Cuvee Classique is ruby red with a robust nose of complex red and black fruit aroma, as well as earthy notes. On the palate, it is similarly layered. sour cherry, black plum, dried flower and leather, with great depth and a lengthy finish. This is a lighter style of wine that nevertheless offers wonderful complexity and depth.

Our Kombucha is brewed and barrel-fermented in our nano brewery situated on Nania’s Vineyard in central Bristol, we have perfected a can-conditioning process and hand-can our kombucha in small batches. We make an authentic kombucha that is RAW and alive inside. It’s very much the real deal and we’re so confident in the provenance of our brew that we offer a S.C.O.B.Y guarantee. This latest limited-release Seyval Blanc Reserve displays aromas of of honeysuckle, gooseberry and freshly cut grass balanced with delicious honeydew melon and zesty lemon tart on the palate. Delicious enjoyed cold on its own or served with a range of seafood or a warm goats’ cheese salad.

A stark contrast to our core pinot noir, Nightjar, both in style and character, “Trouble Every Day” is made from a single pinot noir clone chosen for its exceptional flavour and structure. The grapes were hand picked and sorted in the vineyard and transported to our Battersea winery. Fermented naturally in small open top fermenters and aged in Burgundy oak barrels.
The wine expresses autumnal fruits, such as blackberry, bramble, black cherries and intense spice notes. The wine is refined, yet has crunchy tannins and length. Unfined and unfiltered.
