Our ‘Kentish’ Blanc de Noirs is a wine of yin and yang. Leslie’s Reserve Brut NV is a bright and fresh sparkling wine that captures the elegance and purity of English winemaking. Named after co-founder Leslie Balfour Lynn and first released in 2021 alongside the Rosé, this classic traditional method wine highlights Balfour’s signature style, emphasising fruit and aromatics with minimal reserve wine. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and full malolactic fermentation before ageing on lees for a minimum of 12 months.

Rondo and Regent both deliver distinct flavours. The Rondo has a smoky aroma and is the initial flavour, think Summer barbeques. The tannins and dark fruits of the hedgerow, sloes, damsons and blackberries then kick in delivering a round rich mouth.
This rare creation is Eglantine’s first red wine for a decade! Made from the grapes of a small quantity of red grape vines. Regent and Rondo grape varieties have a short growing season, allowing them to ripen well in the Nottinghamshire climate. Made into wine in South Nottinghamshire by international award winning maker Tony Skuriat, a true local wine!
This wine is a blend across multiple vintages: 2017 through to 2022. The juice began it’s fermentation on the skins, giving it a deep red colour and rich tannins.

This Chardonnay has aromas of ripe melon, bergamot and apricot, a rich palate of butter and citrus marmalade, and a savoury toast-crunch finish. Balanced, complex and delicious.
In the Vineyard
Vines in Block 7 in the centre of the vineyard were chosen for our first Chardonnay. The vines are closely planted (5,000 vines per hectare) in soil with a distinctly sandy and rocky profile. This regulates canopy growth, lessening growth of both shoots and fruit. Lighter crops, from well ventilated, less vigorous canopies, enabled us to ripen the grapes to the desired quality level with minimal canopy intervention.
What's in the name?
'Two Beat Trot' is a dressage term for balance, making it the perfect name for our Chardonnay. Just like the elegant movement, this wine is beautifully balanced and complex.
Food Pairing
This will pair well with autumn vegetable dishes like pumpkin ravioli, roast chicken, and cheddar cheese.
