The skin fermented method applied to such aromatic varietals results in a wine with super powerful aromas of grapefruit, grass and tropical fruit. The palate is dry and crisp with soft tannins and a long citrussy finish. A very food friendly wine!
Winemaker's Notes: Not your typical white wine, a wine for the lovers of 'orange wines'. Small parcels of very ripe and rare (in England) Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat grapes were fermented on skins in the same way as you would a red wine for 7 days before being pressed. Only 500 bottles produced.

We are so thrilled to introduce our first ever Saffron Grange Blanc de Blancs; a style of wine that we personally love here and have wanted to showcase for a while. Due to a bumper crop of Chardonnay in 2021 we were able to finally achieve this and now it’s ready for you to get your hands on!
This signature vintage wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, gently pressed and then aged for a minimum of 26 months in bottle and on its’ yeast lees and was disgorged in the summer to allow the wine to fully integrate before its release.
This Blanc de Blancs is abundant with orchard fruits, apple blossom and candied lemon on the nose with delicate yuzu, white peaches and a hint of flaky pastry on the palate. The finish is long with an elegant, flinty minerality.
We recommend enjoying this wine chilled on its own as an aperitif or, with seared scallops, creamy chicken cooked in a white wine sauce or with artisanal British cheeses.

El Convertido is based in the central Spanish region Castilla‑La Mancha, known as one of Spain’s largest and most important wine-producing areas. Its vineyards lie on the central plateau (the Meseta Central), a wide, relatively flat region at moderate altitude with hot summers and cold winters — ideal conditions for the varieties grown there. During the summer months "Chilli" may join you in the court yard to enjoy some summer sun, a few cuddles and of course to see what delights you are enjoying from the on-site food truck! Every year to pay homage to this special lad we name a wine after him (which of course he chooses!!) and this year is his delicious "Chilli Cat Cuvee", cheers "Chilli".
