Coolhurst Ktima Gerovassiliou Malagousia (6 Bottles) Horsham, West Sussex, England via Greece

NECTAR FROM A DIFFERENT HECTARE
This very fine bottle of white wine comes from the exceptional Ktima Gerovassiliou, who are veritable magicians. It is important to know that, in a market now well represented by the indigenous Malagousia varietal, this estate was responsible for rescuing said grape from extinction in 1981. This baby is the benchmark of the varietal and comes from immaculate 74 acre slopes in Epanomi.
It’s all in here; white pear, mango and lemon zest on the nose and a mouthful of refreshing fruit with a hint of mountain herbs underpinned by a delicious flinty, mineral backbone. Obviously this is a natural partner to Greek and Mediterranean food but it has the kahunas to stand up to Thai spice too. If you like Sauvignon Blanc or Bacchus you’re going to love this.

A fresh and vibrant blend of Seyval Blanc and Madeleine Angevine, crafted from vines rooted in rich clay soils at the base of the picturesque Mendip Hills. Our Bulari Sparkling Rosé is wonderfully fresh and fragrant with hints of rose petal on the nose and an extremely elegant, pale pink appearance. This wine has a delicate mousse with alluring flavours of passion fruit and hints of orange on the palate leading to a dry, crisp finish.

The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. Fast forward to today, and this iconic winery has carefully crafted each blend to showcase the unique characteristics of its terroir, resulting in wines that are both complex and approachable.
This wine is a crafted blend of flavours and textures, showcasing the best of Margaret River Shiraz. This 16 Hectares Shiraz is a medium-bodied delight, with a rich array of dark fruit flavours, including red cherry, blackberry, and spiced plum. These flavours are beautifully complemented by layers of cedar and warm spice, adding depth and complexity to the wine. With its finely textured tannins and refreshing acidity, this wine is both elegant and refined. Our Ortega is made hand-picked grapes, harvested early October, the Ortega grapes from Kent started fermenting in our winery on the 6th of October. The pale yellow juice aged in a stainless steel tank and in a 3rd vintage oak barrel from Burgundy, before being bottled in May 2024. The wine is unfiltered, unfined and vegan friendly.
This white wine starts with a floral and citrus nose. The palate has flavours of peach, citrus and flowers leading to a long finish.
Merstone Ortega pairs perfectly with seafood, fish and chicken dishes or can be enjoyed on its own.

The Fernández family were grocers in Madrid when they decided to set this biodynamic estate up from scratch. Their objective was always to make accessible, easy to drink biodynamic wines and what they’ve achieved in 10 years is nothing short of impressive. High on a gently rolling plateau they built a purpose made winery cleverly laid out to facilitate collecting the grapes and making and storing the wine as efficiently as possible. The 100 hectares of vineyards are planted with many varieties but their Syrah, Tempranillo, Chardonnay and Viognier really stick out.
This Sauvignon Blanc is robust and bold. It has aromas of tropical fruit, bruised apple, brazil nut and dried orange rind. This amber wine is at the cross roads of a red wine for its tannins and a white wine for its good acidity.

Our Classic Method sparkling wine made with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc.
Beautifully balanced and white gold in colour, it has a natural richness and floral bouquet. A portion of this wine is matured in oak barrels then it is aged for 36 months in our underground cave before hand disgorge and finishing.
Nutty Vintage can compete with any sparkling wine in the world. Great for lavish entertaining and special celebrations, it is a lovely aperitif to pair with canapés, oysters, smoked salmon and quail eggs. It is also a treat to cut the sweetness of rich chocolatey desserts.

The art: Just as Nutbourne wines are only made from grapes grown on the estate, every bottle features Bridget Gladwin’s paintings. This artwork is of the vine in Winter – old intertwined wood, resting after producing the wine, which is gently maturing in the cave.
