The wine showcases a delightfully delicate golden hue, bursting with aromas and flavours of honeyed red apples. This is our Little Waddon Vineyard sparkling pink Col Fondo ‘Rosa’ 2022 Col Fondo is an Italian ancestral method semi-sparkling wine made by creating a second fermentation in bottle ‘Con il Fondo’ translates literally as ‘with the bottom’ – meaning sediment or lees is present.
This is all part of the wine style and adds an interesting complexity and mouth feel
Part skin contact, hand de-stemmed and foot crushed single estate Phoenix and Seyval Blanc grapes grown here on our vineyard on the Jurassic Coast First wild fermentation, followed by malolactic fermentation, cold curing over winter, and then second fermentation in bottle
A low intervention wine giving frizzante ‘little bubbles’ Raspberry and apple hedgerow, a hint of nutmeg & brioche, well balanced acidity with an elderflower finish

A bold and ripe expression of Pinot Noir from the stellar vintage of 2022. Made from fruit harvested from Burgundian and German clones of Pinot Noir at Flint Vineyard and from Martin's Lane in the Crouch Valley, Essex.
Long standing followers of Flint will know that our popular red, Pinot Noir Précoce is made from an eagerly ripening ‘clone’ of Pinot Noir, but we also planted some special Burgundian ‘clones’ of Pinot Noir on our Brown’s vineyard site.
The Pinot Noir grapes on our own site, some of the oldest vines at Flint, were planted in 2016, this is the first time we’ve picked these grapes for making red wine.
