The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. Fast forward to today, and this iconic winery has carefully crafted each blend to showcase the unique characteristics of its terroir, resulting in wines that are both complex and approachable.
This wine is a crafted blend of flavours and textures, showcasing the best of Margaret River Shiraz. This 16 Hectares Shiraz is a medium-bodied delight, with a rich array of dark fruit flavours, including red cherry, blackberry, and spiced plum. These flavours are beautifully complemented by layers of cedar and warm spice, adding depth and complexity to the wine. With its finely textured tannins and refreshing acidity, this wine is both elegant and refined. Soft rounded full dry white wine, aged in French oak barrels, produced from Ortega and Chardonnay grapes grown in Dropmore Vineyard. Delicate vanilla aromas with hints of butterscotch and honey, plenty of character. Good ageing potential.
Ortega is a lesser-known grape variety in the UK, but gaining in popularity among those who have ‘’discovered” it! Named after Spanish philosopher, Jose Ortega y Gaffet, Ortega is a cross between Muller-Thurgau and Siegerrebe grapes.

Bodegas Lustau Amontillado Los Arcos Solera Familiar NV (6 Bottles) Jerez, Spain

During the early years, Bodegas Lustau operated as an ‘Almacenista’. The Lustau family began bottling their own sherries and exporting by 1950. In the 1980s they expanded their range and introduced the Almacenista range concept of buying and maturing casks from small bodegas to share excellent quality names and styles with enthusiasts around the world. Bodegas Lustau is considered a world-class benchmark for top-quality wines.
Aged for equal periods under “flor” and in contact with the oxygen, in Bodega Emperatriz Eugenia in Jerez de la Frontera. This dry Amontillado acquires a genuine, rich and nutty flavour through years of ageing. Amber in colour, with hazelnut aromas on the nose. Light, soft and round on the palate, with a long aftertaste.
18.5% ABV. Fortified.
Coolhurst Côtes de Provence Rosé 2023 (6 Bottles) Horsham, West Sussex, England via Provence

Our elegant rosé is made from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah, all grown on the best terroirs of the Côtes de Provence A.O.C.
Our secret blend is made to appeal. The big names in Provence have all gone on the same journey; tightening their wines up and restricting the length of the finish, whereas our recipe is considerably more ‘old school’.
The Cinsault variety gives the wine its softness, with the Grenache providing body and the Syrah giving the roundness of the red fruit which is amplified by our special assemblage.
There is plenty of upfront fruit on the palate giving a huge strawberries and cream mouthful, before drifting towards peaches and pears, finally delivering a lemony edge with incredible length and a moreish finish.
