Palacios Remondo La Vendimia Garnacha Tempranillo 2022 (6 Bottles) Rioja, Spain
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Palacios Remondo is a family-owned winery based in Alfaro, in Rioja Oriental, the warmest and most easterly part of the Rioja appellation. The soils here are silty and alluvial and the semi-arid Mediterranean climate is well-suited to growing Garnacha, a variety that is finally coming back into the foreground in this region, after decades of being supplanted by the more popular Tempranillo.
This wine has great phenolic maturity and a salty herb-sour edge to intense almost tarry dark Garnacha. The palate has a fantastic acid-tannin reach which drags clay spice and floral red berry along and along and along ... It’s long, complex, fresh, vital and complete.
14% ABV, Organic.

Anthonij Rupert Wyne Protea Chenin Blanc 2024 (6 Bottles) Franschhoek, South Africa
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Anthonij Rupert Wyne was founded on the farm, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek. Originally owned by the late Anthonij Rupert, who passed away in 2001, the farm was eventually taken over by his brother Johann Rupert in 2003 and the brand named after him. It was Johann Rupert who constructed a state-of-theart winemaking facility, catapulting the farm into a prestigious wine estate. The portfolio is made up of L’Ormarins from Franschhoek, Rooderust from Darling, Riebeeksrivier from the Swartland and Altima from isolated Elandskloof. Each site offers optimum varietal specific growing conditions, allowing Anthonij Rupert Wyne to adhere to the requirements of their different brands.
The nose reveals apricot and stone fruit aromas, with subtle hints of lemon and gravel. Black Chalk Inversion Sparkling Blanc de Noirs 2020 (6 Bottles) Andover, Hampshire, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Inversion 2020 is a limited-edition Blanc de Noir, with only 1,939 bottles produced. Crafted from 83% Pinot Noir and 17% Pinot Meunier, this wine showcases the best of the Upper Levels vineyard, where the unique terroir lends complexity and depth to the blend. Dominated by the robust Pinot Noir 777 clone (67% of the blend), it is complemented by clones 386, 521, and 817, each contributing to its layered profile.
The wine’s character is shaped by a careful balance of 97% stainless steel aging and 3% maturation in 5-year-old Burgundian barrels, enhancing its finesse. Burgundy yeast Spark amplifies the aromatics, while a non-interventionist approach—eschewing malolactic fermentation and fining—ensures the wine expresses its true varietal essence.
On the nose, Inversion bursts with vibrant red fruit aromas, underpinned by subtle hints of spice and earthiness. The palate delivers a powerful and expressive profile, brimming with red berries, yet refined with a distinctive “grown-up” edge. A backbone of vibrant acidity cleanses the palate, creating a clean and satisfying finish.
This is a wine of elegance and precision, designed to celebrate the potential of Pinot Noir in the UK, particularly the expressive and bold nature of the PN 777 clone.
“Inversion is all about highlighting the power of the PN 777 clone—it’s got a real grown-up edge to it.”
