Our first vintage in 2010 feels like yesterday and like a different world altogether. The nerves and anxiety of years of work and planning all coming down to a single day. Thirty or so virtual strangers turned up to pick coralled by our friend Celia Kozlowski. Little did we know that some of them would still be harvesting with us to this day!
We sold the vast majority of the wine years ago but we kept a few bottles on lees for 13 years. We always keep a some in the cellars for family occasions and have decided to put 50 out into the world for people that are interested in seeeing how this gem has developed. The LD stands for Late Disgorged - doing it this way preserves the freshness of the wine and indeed, these bottles are remarkable. They resemble a blanc de blancs in terms of its taste profile which is fresh and full of minerality with distinctive grapefruit citrus aromas that I can't say that we remember from it's first incarnation. It's a beautiful delicate wine that is testament to the quality of those young vines at Higher Plot.

Rare and refined, Nyetimber’s Tillington Single Vineyard shows the exceptional Pinot Noir character of one of our most celebrated vineyards. Produced only in specific vintages. A true expression of place.
Pale gold in colour with very fine bubbles. Intense aromas of raspberry, red apple skin and rose petal. The textured palate is both vibrant yet refined, revealing layers of orange zest, raspberry, apricot and marzipan. Opulent fruit and complex biscuit characters persist in a long, mouth watering finish.

Our elegant, dry and complex 2015 Sparkling Classic Cuvée benefitted from a dry summer and warm September, helping to ripen the traditional Champagne varieties used in this blend.
The tension and ripe citrus fruits of this dry sparkling wine works particularly well with Thai inspired recipes. The roundness and subtle mouthfeel of the wine is a treat to match with noble fish and seafood such as gurnard, bass or scallops.

Made from our very best parcels of Bacchus grapes, a unique expression of Bacchus from some of our oldest vines. The Orpheus is a wine of great finesse, a limited range only made in selected years. The 2023 vintage is a well structured, elegant, dry white wine. On the nose you find undertones of gooseberry, elderflower and pink grapefruit.
