Ripe, fleshy pear and English apple on the nose with hints of violets and turkish delight. The palate is soft and textured but also fresh and crisp.
A generous length of pink grapefruit, almonds and biscuit pastry rounds off this complex wine.
The fruit was harvested by hand from our own vines and a parcel from Martin's Lane Vineyard in the Crouch Valley, Essex. To express the complexity of the Bacchus grape, we use a multitude of techniques that respect both the traditional and more novel methods of winemaking.

Wild Rose Sparkling Rosé captivates with its delicate wild-rose pink hue, exuding elegance and complexity. On the nose, vibrant aromas of ripe red berries intertwine with subtle floral nuances.
The palate is a delightful balance of freshness and bright fruit, with luscious notes of strawberries and raspberries complemented by a soft, creamy texture, a result of partial malolactic fermentation. This harmonious interplay concludes with a beautifully long, refined finish.
Aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees and rested an additional six months on cork post-disgorgement, this sparkling rosé demonstrates exceptional maturity and finesse.
Wild Rose shines alongside sashimi and maki rolls, enhanced by the salty tang of soy sauce and the zing of fresh ginger. It also pairs effortlessly with charcuterie boards and cheese platters. An opulent, fruit driven nose full of ripe pear, stone fruit and lemon peel, alongside sweet spice, vanilla and a delicate smoky note. On the palate, there’s lots of tropical fruits, fresh citrus, white peach and a salty mineral note. The wine is beautifully elegant and the mouthfeel is generous and creamy, with toasty, buttery characters leading to a freshness on the long, lingering finish.

2022 produced the ripest Kerner our vineyard has ever produced. Coming in naturally at 12.8% Abv (remembering this is a relative of Riesling), there was an intensity & complexity to this variety that we have never experienced. Spritzy and refreshing, it displays vivid flavours of rhubarb & ginger compote, with a savoury, nutty background. A fantastic aperitif, or paired with pork, fatty fish, or Japanese cuisine. A once in a decade vintage.
