Beautifully balanced light Pink traditional method sparkling wine with classic English Pinot character. Lovely floral and delicate strawberry fruit nose and crisp acidity

2017 vintage review in The Times by Jane Macquitty 'Bob and Sam make England’s best pink bubble in a pretty corner of the Cornish countryside. It’s constantly classy, champagne-method gem and bursts with zingy crushed-strawberry fruit. Wonder to the park with this and have a wonderful time. '

Described by Victoria Moore as ‘a triumph, it’s completely delicious – like a wild cherry blossom nose-kiss’. Jane Macquitty, the Times critic writes about the 2016 vintage: ‘Camel Valley’s strawberry scented Pinot noir rose Brut is ‘the best …’.

Praised by Matthew Jukes, English Wine Compendium Mail Weekend magazine "This is a phenomenal wine which is not only one of the finest rosés in the UK but also the world!"

Recommended by Saturday Kitchen’s Olly Smith and a strong pedigree: The 2010 vintage won a Decanter World Wine Award Gold medal, the UKVA Trophy for the best Sparkling Rose in England and was awarded first place in the MWs tasting of 90 English Sparkling wines in 2012. Judges included Jancis Robinson, Stephen Spurrier, Stephen Skelton, Susie Barry, Waitrose and M&S: 'Strawberry and raspberry nose, lovely acid backbone well balanced with the dosage'.

Camel Valley 2009 Pinot Noir Rosé was crowned Sparkling Rosé World Champion ahead of Bollinger Champagne rosé and also won the International Wine Challenge Trophy. Awarded 95/100 points from Chair of Judges Tom Stevenson, editor of Christie's World Encyclopedia of Champagne and sparkling wine. Yotes Court ‘Two Beat Trot’ Chardonnay 2022 (6 Bottles) Maidstone, Kent, England

£192.00
by Wines by Cellars

UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED

This Chardonnay has aromas of ripe melon, bergamot and apricot, a rich palate of butter and citrus marmalade, and a savoury toast-crunch finish. Balanced, complex and delicious.

In the Vineyard

Vines in Block 7 in the centre of the vineyard were chosen for our first Chardonnay. The vines are closely planted (5,000 vines per hectare) in soil with a distinctly sandy and rocky profile. This regulates canopy growth, lessening growth of both shoots and fruit. Lighter crops, from well ventilated, less vigorous canopies, enabled us to ripen the grapes to the desired quality level with minimal canopy intervention.

What's in the name?

'Two Beat Trot' is a dressage term for balance, making it the perfect name for our Chardonnay. Just like the elegant movement, this wine is beautifully balanced and complex.

Food Pairing

This will pair well with autumn vegetable dishes like pumpkin ravioli, roast chicken, and cheddar cheese.
