Wild Rose Sparkling Rosé captivates with its delicate wild-rose pink hue, exuding elegance and complexity. On the nose, vibrant aromas of ripe red berries intertwine with subtle floral nuances.
The palate is a delightful balance of freshness and bright fruit, with luscious notes of strawberries and raspberries complemented by a soft, creamy texture, a result of partial malolactic fermentation. This harmonious interplay concludes with a beautifully long, refined finish.
Aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees and rested an additional six months on cork post-disgorgement, this sparkling rosé demonstrates exceptional maturity and finesse.
Wild Rose shines alongside sashimi and maki rolls, enhanced by the salty tang of soy sauce and the zing of fresh ginger. It also pairs effortlessly with charcuterie boards and cheese platters. This Sauvignon Blanc is bright and expressive, with aromas of lime, gooseberry and passionfruit, alongside hints of lemongrass and fresh herbs. The palate is dry and lively, showing flavours of green apple, lime zest and tropical citrus. Our rosé is made from pinot noir grapes sourced from Clayhill Vineyard in nearby Essex. The grapes are hand-picked into small crates then travel the short distance to our winery in Battersea. After a short cold soak, the grapes are pressed and fermented in old French oak.
The wine spends a further 8 months on lees in tank and barrel and 1 year in bottle prior to release. The result is an expressive and textured rosé with elements of strawberries and cream and ripe red cherry.
